We loved our 2 day stay at Hotel Belmar and it was the highlight of our 10 day trip across Costa Rica. The experiences that Hotel Belmar offers were unique and authentic - such a nice, quiet way to experience the nature without feeling too touristy like many other experiences in CR. We did the ficus climb adventure and it completely exceeded our expectations. I wish we had more time to try all the other experiences that Hotel Belmar offers but we'll definitely be back. The breakfast was a la carte which we preferred to the buffet experience we have had at other hotels - the portions were generous and so beautifully decorated. The onsite restaurant and smoothie bar were amazing. We loved all the different parts of the property! The self-guided scenic trail was incredibly beautiful as was the pond. We also really enjoyed the complimentary yoga class.

We were 2 families with teenagers and loved spreading out in the house, we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping and had a blast zip lining. We even saw a sloth and her baby by the breakfast house. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. Each room had its own bathroom and the shower had amazing water pressure!
