A nice hotel in an unbeatable location, with nice staff and a good breakfast. it is a bit pricey, especially on a Saturday night prior to the famous market, but worth it. The car was "valet" parked bty stff, which is absolutely essential in the old city center. The location is walking distance for the boat landing and in the heart of the activities in town.

It was wonderful 👌
We’d love to come back to this gorgeous village, the markets on Sunday were outstanding with lots of clothes, jewellery etc not sure how often they’re on. We stumbled on them accidentally and were very happy 😀

It is a nice town at the lake. One week was a bit long, market day is every Sunday and this is not something I personally enjoy. Did a boat trip to isola Bella which was super nice. Hiked to the grotto and swam it ice cold water.

A pretty lakeside town both on the waterfront and internally. More low key than Stresa and Verbania but plenty of bars and cafes to suit all price ranges. It is a tranquil place with a nice vibe in the evenings and quite a buzzing lido area plus the ability to swim off the lakefront at the other quieter end of town. It is immaculately maintained and there are a fair few shops to browse.

The town is extremely beautiful and the restaurants are excellent. My only concern is that everything is geared towards the Germans, ie the menus, the choice of wines and we were often spoken to in German by staff untill we informed them that we were English.

The Lago Maggiore is a really exciting experience: coming down from the Alpes and "diving" into a luxurious nature!
Cannobio is on the italian shore a few km beyond the Swiss border - it has the charme of Italy, the cleanliness of Switzerland, the flair of the southern slope of the Alpes, and the scents of the mediterranean flora
Great location (took a while to find when we first arrived in the dark).
What a view of Lake Maggiore - you can admire it.
A kind hostess, a great restaurant for dinner right next door, a breakfast bar with a wonderful view - what more could you want.
Excellent hiking trails nearby, swimming in the lake.
A quick note for future bookers -- without your own transport, access is a bit difficult as Casa Angelino is a few hundred meters up the hillside from Cannobio, so it may take a while to get there on foot.
Highly recommended. This beautifully renovated hotel provides fresh new rooms with high quality furnishings and linens. It is immaculately kept and the wonderfully charming hosts provide a delicious and varied breakfast every morning served in their very cute courtyard or lovely dining room. And it is only a few minute walk to the lake with many restaurants and cafes just steps away. A really terrific place to stay.
Excellent apartment separated from.the owner's house. The hosts were outstanding and highly engaged. They went out of their way to help orient me to the area - providing me with maps and loaning me a photo book of Cannobio. The property is a well located and a 2 minute walk to the main Promanade along Lake Maggiore. They also offered a nice set of meat cheese yogurt and cereal options.
This hotel is an oasis! We loved it. We had a wonderful room with lake view, charming interieur, super clean, the garden was fantastic with a lot of chill areas. We were allowed to use the wonderful pool after check out and the hosts were absolutely kind. We enjoyed the breakfast at the terrace and the silence although Cannobio center was within walking distance!!! We will come back!!
After a bit of confusion (they had listed both us and the couple we travelled with as single occupants for breakfast), we got things straightened out and enjoyed our breakfast. The breakfast server didn't speak English, we didn't speak Italian. The chef, who spoke English, came out from the kitchen and got things straightened out. They seemed very eager to make our stay enjoyable.
Very close to the center, yet with wide and very easy parking option (as long as you know that you have to come and park from another street in the back, the front street that is found by Google Maps is very very narrow). We appreciated the spacious (enormous) bathroom which is rare in Italy. The hostess was very friendly and everything was easy and efficient.
We had an incredible nice stay at Dimora Scurone.
It's a very kind family run hotel with three gorgeous rooms. Beautifully renovated building, furnished with attention to detail.
The breakfast is a dream. The dinner in the backyard as well. We loved the chees plate, the wine and for sure Panzanella.
We are already looking forward to the next visit.
A beautiful family run hotel in now one of my favorite European villages. It's in the perfect location, just on the edge of the old town with easy access to the bike path or wandering the wonderful streets of Cannobio. I loved how the hallways meandered and offered unique views. The staff was wonderful and everything was perfect.
The most friendly owners and staff we ever met. They were so friendly and helpfull. It really made our vacation more enjoyable! The hotel is beatiful and the rooms just perfect. Really spacious and clean. Breakfast also great. Everything we needed was there and really fresh and tastefull. We recommend this hotel 100%!
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel.
Alessia is the wonderful host and a kind person. The room was beautifully decorated, the view was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious.
Nice little place in the centre of Cannobio. Perfect for a couple of days. The property was clean, good value with a nice breakfast. The owner was really nice and helpful.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, good shower, location of hotel, access to beach, lake and within easy walk to the town of Cannobio. Good value for money.
