Perfect location to visit the Amalfi coast and Pompei
I've been visiting Castellammare since 1978. Some terrible damage was done in the earthquake of 1980 but the city has progressed past that and is now a beautiful place again. Even better than before. I love the atmosphere and the friendliness xxxx

The bedside floating shelf broke when I put a 2 litre water bottle on it. One of the knobs on the front door came off. Noise from the street is big. Nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good central location. No parking.

I researched a lot and Castellammare is the best positioned if you want to explore Amalfi. It is just great distance to Ravello - going over the hills and to Sorrento and Salerno. We did not explored the place itself. It has electronic store just 300m - my friend lost and went to buy el. cord for celphone. It was open until 21h! We drove trough, it seems a bit ruined but nice, traditional place. I wish we had time to explore it. If you drive to Sorrento it is the fastest route to go very along the coast, check the map! Parking in Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento is usualy 8 euro/h!! There is the ferry to Capri cost 45euro/person return and this is the same price from Sorrento just it runs more often in Sorrento!

Gives the feeling of a poor town, and too much waste besides the streets. A lot of broken things. But don't worry, we were close to the boulevard and the ambience was pretty nice. Nice people. A lot of restaurants. Also shops.
From Castellammare di Stabia you can travel around easily.

Very close to Ferry port which gives you access to the Almafi Coast, Capri Island, Sorrento if required. Dining in the evening was a short 5-10 minute walk from accommodation which is ideal, staff recommendations were also given via WhatsApp. Very close if car hire purchased to local tourist sites like Pompei, almafi, rivello, rome. Secure car parking at accommodation.

We didn't expect to stay in CdS, but we ended up really enjoying it: easy access to Pompeii (and Naples) and Sorrento via train, and most of the boats to Capri and the Amalfi towns start here. But what we liked most about this town is that it is authentically Italian. Stroll the beachfront promenade in the evening and you'll see parents taking their kids to the local amusement park and groups of young teens checking each other out. No hordes of tourists and shops selling souvenirs.
Recommend taking the gondola from the train station to the top of Mt. Faito. Go in the daytime if you want to hike (there's a restaurant and bar too) or at dusk to watch the sun set over the Bay of Naples. Temperature drops 18 deg F, so don't forget an extra layer!

Fantastic room (very high) quality with everything you need. Enough space. Looks brand new (2023). Clean and very modern (airco, floor cooling/heating, big shower, hair dryer, LED ambient light, big LCD TV, fridge, enough 230V sockets...
Very nice and adequate owner who wants to give you a five star experience..
The train station is 100meter away. Trains and Busses are low priced. Car parking is more difficult and about € 20 a day. You enter the shops and restaurant and beach area in a few steps.
This place was nice, clean and well located in Castellammare. There is a grocery store across the street. The beach is 2 minutes away with a ton of restaurants and bars. We had free bottled water, coffee and snacks every day.
They also offer a few services if you need them. You can reach them on Whatsapp. Luciano was super nice and organized a shuttle service for us from the train station to the hotel. He also gave us lots of information on things to do and visit in the area.
Peaceful, relaxing, and secluded location. Away from the hustle and bustle of all the tourist traps! Breakfast was delicious, with an awesome view on the terrace. Restaurant was outstanding. The Bolognaise and lamb chops were delicious. The Maître D, Gennaro was awesome! Wonderful customer service. Attentive, kind, and amiable staff. Everyone greeted us with a smile and we’re very warm. The spa was great! Loved our stay! We didn’t want to leave.
My Husband and I really enjoyed our stay! We had the suite and the view was spectacular! The staff is very helpful and the bartenders and restaurant are very good as well. Train is nearby and the hotel has an hourly shuttle. We went to Sorrento and Pompeii by train and it was simple. Our weather was not great but we did manage to dip in the sea and get in the pool one afternoon and it is lovely!
The property has all the necessary conditions, for sleeping and cooking. It is located very close to markets, the port, the beach and the train station. This gives you the opportunity to visit, in addition to Castellammare, to see other towns that are located nearby in short distances. We traveled to Capri, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and the entire coast near them. I suggest it to everyone😊
We stayed at the place for 5 nights. The place is amazing and the owner is very kind and friendly. He showed us around and always gave advice on what to do. We felt as in our house. The hotel is very clean, and we watched the sunset over our room. There was a nice breakfast served every morning. It is only 30 mintues to Sorrento and there are small cute beaches around.
Well situated in the center of Castellammare di Stabia, a stone throw away from the Circumvesuviana railway to Naples, Pompei and Sorrento. And very close to the Funivia to Monte Faito ( a must: incredible view over the bay).
The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Building has an elevator (something not every apartment in the neighborhood has).
Would recommend!
Hospitality, in particular the friendliness of the staff who were very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. The hotel is in a beautiful garden, has a great view and offers great food. There is a small spa with a great team who do not only offer excellent treatments but who also do their utmost to accommodate unforeseen changes (eg delays due to public transport).
The room is even better in person. Very spacious & comfortable. The location of the hotel has a great view & is within walking distance of many restaurants & train station. Staff were amazing & very accommodating including breakfast for an early checkout & referral for local pharmacy that does Covid testing. Would highly recommend.
Situated up on a hill, the hotel overlooks the entire City of Castellamare, Naples at a distance, Mt. Vesuvius, etc.
The staff at this hotel were amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure our visit was excellent! The owner was very knowledgeable about places to visit and things to do. They were professional and caring!
The photos don’t do the property justice. The property had a great location, a beautiful terrace, and was very clean and comfortable. Very close to restaurants, train station, supermarkets, and an atm. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends and family who want to visit the Amalfi coast.
good location and the crew is just wonderful, really nice person always ready to help or to advice about good things to do in the region.
The hotel is clean and room are well equipped. you can rent bike or enjoy the swimming pool.
The breakfast is simple but good.
The apartment was spacious and has a kitchen and washing machine. Very close to the train station, the waterfront and good restaurants. The host was responsive when we met issues inside the apartment, and had it fixed very fast.
Short walk from the trainstation and directly at the sea! We got a room with seaview - so beautiful! Next morning we had a breakfast at the top of the Hotel with a stunning view over the coast and you can see the Vesuv! JUST WOW!
Location is great. The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel needs renovation. Bathroom sink and shower were clogged. Very old facility. Furniture was old and few non functional. Our room had a wall for view.
Staff were friendly and helpful, quiet location away from all the crowds and noises. Private beach was a good addition too, resturant in the hotel at the evening was brilliant and reasonably priced.
The pool and beach were amazing. The pool staff were wonderful. The location with it being on one level and not having to climb stairs. Housekeeping did a beautiful job.
