Ischia is lovely and scenic with an ancient history.
Ischia is lovely and scenic with an ancient history. Thermal springs abound all over the island and several spas abound to fir all budgets and needs. The local cuisine is seafood, mostly,
the freshest and most varied I’ve ever run across though their best known specialty is a delicious rabbit dish.
There are several picturesque historical sights and local vineyards to sample their lovely local wines. This is the second vacation we’ve taken there and look forward to our next!
I would recommend the town of Forio, it being 25 minutes by car from the ferry port and central to other sights.

I spent 6 days on Ischia and explored 80% of island.
I spent 6 days on Ischia and explored 80% of island.
I would recommend Forio region for an accommodation. There are more attractions and more active night live.
Sorgeto Thermal with amazing view and bars (only two, but staff is nice).
The beaches are beautiful everywhere but Maronti Beach. Maronti beach was the the dirtiest one I've visited there.
I love italian cuisine, so any restaurant is TOP. There are also markets where you can buy snack, and I found one big supermarket.
Ischia is perfect for half-day hiking to Monte Epomeo, where is restaurant with home-grow and home-made food. You just don't have a choice, there is one delicious food to order.
Regarding public transport. At the beginning it seems as a chaos, but the public transport is really well organised. Roads are narrow and curved, but drivers are skilled.
I recommend to rent a scooter.
People are nice and kind!

Really liked the location. Walking distance to town.
Really liked the location. Walking distance to town. Maria was lovely and very helpful with providing rides when needed. The rooms were very new and clean. Our only issue was the elevator as the alternative staircase is a small spiral one. Hopefully they get their elevator issues sorted out.

Loved the visit to Giardini de Mortella, this was fantastic.
Loved the visit to Giardini de Mortella, this was fantastic.
Liked Forio to shop and eat. There is also a beach here.
Negumo thermal pools were very much worth the visit. We went three times.
Buses are very frequent but often crowded. They are the best way to get about. Buy a three day or a week pass for best value.
The apartment is located very close to the port within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Ischia Porto. it is extremely spacious, the bedrooms are large and there is also a separate living room, a kitchen and a very large terrace. The apartment is fully equipped and the owners kindly supplied a range of drinks and snacks as well as tea and coffee. Despite its proximity to the centre, the property is quiet and very comfortable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
The stunning view of the castle (Castello Aragonese) from the main terrace is worth a visit! This hotel is a jewel of comfort tradition and quiet. A stone throw from the harbor on one side and Ischia Ponte on the other side this place is ideal for family trips. We have been welcomed with a smile and a special attention to our girl thanks to a professional and personalized touch especially at breakfast. The beauty centre is cozy and well managed. Highly recommended, I am sure we will come back!
We had a great stay! The hotel is on a hill but if u take bus 16 from piazza marina / Porto di Casamicciola it stops in front of the hotel. The hosts are very kind, sweet and helpful. The facilities are good and the swimming pool is very nice.
The view is amazing and u can eat there and enjoy drinks from the bar. The island Ischia is beautiful. We were so happy with our hosts and hotel that we decided to book another night. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic location, a short walk from the gorgeous Sant’Angelo. The owners are very friendly and offer an attentive service, giving some suggestions for food and excursions. The room was clean and spacious for one person. I really enjoyed the tasty breakfast each morning. The on-site pools are an added bonus and it’s very quiet location. The bus stop is located right outside the hotel so very convenient for getting to and from Ischia Port.
It's the second time I stayed at this hotel. I love this place! Stylish quiet and clean rooms with balconies. Located at Ischia's best beach. The hotel has its own private beach (free for guests), which is great, and a swimming pool with warm water. There is also spa area with an indoor thermal water pool - a great place to chill. The staff is amazing - super friendly and helpful. Thr food and drinks are beyond words, so good.
This hotel was chosen because it probably, one on the island of Ischia, which is very close to the sea, so it is called a beach hotel. Indeed, you only need to cross the road to the nearest beach. The rooms are decorated in a family style. The breakfast is continental, without fancy, but it is like that everywhere in Italy, except for very fashionable hotels. They clean constantly and carefully, the staff is pleasant.
The view of Ischia is magnificent! Couldn’t be better!
Katia was very welcoming and took care of the breakfast buffet. It wasn’t a typical Italian breakfast with sweet stuff only (not my thing), there were fruits, bread & co. and Katia organised hummus, tofu and vegetables for me (I’m vegan). Really the best B&B breakfast I had in Italy so far. Grazie Katia!
Carlo, the owner was also kind and very helpful.
We had an amazing stay at Queen Suites while on our honeymoon! Marilisa was extremely helpful and communicative and kept the room and common areas sparkling clean. The location also could not be better, right in the heart of town and very walkable to the ferry, taxi, bus and beach. The pool was also such a luxury in the summer heat. We would definitely go back!
Cute little hotel in Ischia very close to the main street of Ischia Porto. The thermal pool was lovely and the restaurant had gorgeous views! Beautiful gardens all throughout the hotel and quaint rooms. Don't be put off by the dramatic reviews. It's not a luxury hotel but is certainly not horrible! Great value for a weeklong stay in Ischia.
An amazing hotel. Close to the main attractions in Ischia Ponte / Porto but removed from the crowds. The breakfast terrace, rooms and gardens are beautiful - reading in the garden while overlooking the island was one of our favorite experiences. The restaurant is also fantastic - I highly recommend booking a dinner there during your stay.
The breakfast was delicious, good variety of breads, cakes, cereal, fruit and cold or hot drinks. The hotel was well positioned off the main road, and walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants. The pool area was spacious and clean and the island bus route passed right by the hotel with a convenient stop a few steps away.
Great location within walking distance from the ferry pier and literally on the beach.
Pool is nice, with a warm thermal tub too that is open until 8pm.
Hotel is really clean and follows all covid regulations.
The thermal SPA and breakfast are ok (the bakery selection is actually fantastic)
This hotel is a must visit when on the island of Ischia!!
If you are a foodie you are in luck, the restaurant for dinner and breakfast is one of the best we’ve ate in all of Italy.
The staff and service in the hotel were amazing, friendly and extremely helpful.
The hotel is in a great location. Very close to the beach, Ischia Ponte and Castel Aragonese.
The room is cleaned every day, receives lots of natural light, has a wonderful garden and terrace where you have an obstacle free view of the sea.
Lovely family run hotel, excellent location and spacious room. Enjoyed the pool, rooftop terrace, and included breakfast. Staff were very helpful with recommendations for attractions to visit and how to get around the island.
The location was perfect. Your right downtown but the apartment is so quiet. Great for families. So much space and Sophia was nice enough to give us a fan for noise. The best customer service I've had in Italy.
Everything, clean, more than enough space, good aircon, good fridge, large terrazza in room 7, and the hotel was located in a reasonably quiet backstreet ( it is never quiet in Ischia in late july)
It was just right. End of the road treasure with a comfortable room , spa facilities, a beach with a thermal spring to walk to, and a top notch restaurant with a killer view.
I loved this hotel.
Amazing gorgeous stay I. The best part of ischia! Clean and comfortable very luxe. Staff is fantastic! Breakfast on the patio is breathtaking. We will be back
