Stunning view to the Garda Lake and mountains. Beautiful nature. The beach was not clean enough in the end of July, probably too small for the high season. Many boats, promenade is full of handmade sellers , bicycles, tourists especially in the evenings. Lazise Old city is nice to go. Plenty of restaurants, shops, gelateria etc.. Sirmione castle is about 30 min by car. Taxi is too expensive (around +-70 Eur one way).

This hotel is along way from the centre of Lazise but you can walk to Lazise, which takes about an hour. Alternatively you can walk out the side entrance, through the theme park Carnevaworld and catch the bus down into Lazise. The hotel is lovely and the spa facilities are great and they can be used until 8pm daily along with the three swimming pools. Two outdoor cold pools and one indoor 32 degree pool. The gym is adequately stocked. The food is expensive and a much better option is to eat out as it is much cheaper and nicer as there is more variety. The continental buffet for breakfast was good but it would have been better if other egg options were offered for free such as poached eggs. The staff were lovely and the reception staff were particularly helpful in advising us with towns to visit etc. The hotel is now under new management and they were painting outside walls and changing door handles while we were there. Lazise itself is a beautiful town with lots of shops an restaurants as well as a great winery where you can sample local wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the winery. There are areas where you can sit and marvel at the spectacular views of the lake, sunbathe or catch a water ferry to another town. The water ferry trips can take along time to get to the town you want to visit so another option is to go by bus. We would definitely return to Lake Garda for another holiday and explore some of the towns we didn’t get to visit. In this respect hiring a car for a few days may be a better option. I would definitely visit Mount Baldo in Macesine, Sirmione, Desenzano del Garda and go to Verona for a day. We were also recommended to visit Limone and Riva but didn’t have time to visit these.

I booked this hotel specifically because it was clearly and in writing that the junior sweet had a lake view a garden view and a pool view while what i found was just a garden view on the first floor , when I asked why at the reception i was told that if i wanted a view of the lake I could up grade into a family room for another 100 euro on top of what I already payed per night and they just said they are sorry, after they tried to find an excuse that the Junior sweet might also mean you can get a lake view or a garden view or a pool view they just put an , OR , in front of what i had in writing while it did never show on mine, very misleading

the location is great, but the house is small and very shaky when you walk around the deck area or in the house. beds are really tinny and uncomfortable. It is a very cheap version of camping, however clean and helpful staff (they also spoke English).

This resort exceeded our expectations beyond anything and we are sold and will be back next year and bring for of our children with us. Lazise a small town but so charming and you better try going there during the evening and use the resorts free shuttle transfer to get more out of the trip.

The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was so gracious and kind. We definitely plan to return to this hotel again.
