The flat was lovely, very clean and had almost everything we needed. Loved that there was a washer/ dryer combo n the flat. The view amazing, airport and the sea. Loved the breakfast it came with at the little restaurant on the first floor, food was excellent. Came with 2 hours at the spa daily…the pool, hot tub and stream room were lovely after a long day walking. Staff at the spa was wonderful.

We live in Spain so to visit a British territory travelling a short distance by bus, stay in a very comfortable hotel was a pleasant experience and most enjoyable.
The hotel including the food was excellent but we ate in one of the town pubs and restaurants near the harbour which provided a variety of different dishes.
Gib.is a clean, historical place with plenty of green spaces and parks.
As we are of the older age bracket we did find the steep gradients and busy roads a little difficult but there is a reliable bus service and taxis available and we expected both problems with it being a small, rocky territory so it would not deter us from returning.
Overall an excellent experience and a visit well worth making.

Gibraltar is small in size , and a keen walker like myself was able to cover almost the whole area on foot . Because of the time of year , the day trips to Morocco and Spain were not running . I did mean to travel to both , but as it was a "last minute" trip I didn't check on their availability . I visited many places of interest , and would definitely recommend taking the cable car up to the top of the rock . Set off early , and combine the nature reserve entry on your ticket . Try to do as much as you can on the one day . It works out far cheaper that way .

The rock itself is magnificent and the warm winter temperature was lovely. Travelling in January means far fewer tourists and no queues, which made visiting attractions easy. Similarly, getting into restaurants without reservations was no problem. Ideal for a history buff and a nature lover.

Gibraltar is just the ticket for a short break in the winter...
Gibraltar is just the ticket for a short break in the winter sun. There’s a comfortable mix of Spanish and some of the better aspects of English culture, and the place is well-organised and managed. It won’t appeal to those looking for ’Continental’ atmosphere, but the Englishness is diluted by the Spanish influence.
A visit to the Rock is essential, if only to come in to contact with Europe’s only population of (semi-)wild macaques, but there is plenty more of interest.
Callum was exceptionally responsive and proactive. He communicated with us before our arrival and during our stay. He was so friendly and helpful.
The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The furnishings were comfortable and attractive. The rock of Gibraltar was right outside our bedroom window. It was amazing during the day and surreal at night.
We loved staying here and would definitely stay again.
Nice hotel, good location with fantastic sea views. Generally very nice place, however, I would say that some of the building does require some refurbishment which I believe is going to happen very soon. Access to the largest beach in Gibraltar was just down a set of stairs from the hotel. Bus stop right outside the entrance with a half hourly service into town, however, last bus at 21:00 so taxi back if you want a late one.
This is an adorable condo. It’s small, but very clean and modern, and contained everything we needed. Callum came by in person to welcome us, which was very appreciated. The very best thing about this place is that it’s on the top floor, with a SPECTACULAR view of the north side of the rock of Gibraltar from the balcony. I also especially appreciated the possibility of doing our laundry in the building.
We absolutely LOVED this hotel!!! The rooms were absolutely amazing and super comfortable and were right next to the rock of Gibraltar! The restaurant on the ground floor Fresca was amazing and stuff was very helpful! The one thing that we extremely enjoyed in the hotel and exceeded our expectations was the spa!!! So relaxing, the massage was amazing and the spa facilities were perfect!
The Experience of staying on a boat with lovely hosts. Its close to the border crossing and minutes from restaurants and town, good value compared to most Gibraltar accommodation. Just remember its a boat not a hotel room as it appears some of the negative comments were expecting, the toilets and showers are a few minutes walk away but are new. Great experience and would do it again.
Unlike a hotel it felt like home for a week. I was in flat 2. The decor is very dated but it doesn't matter. The road can be noisy with the window open in the lounge but because it is a solid building the bedroom is very quiet. I liked the amount of room I had and everything that anyone would need is provided. When in Gibraltar again I will definitely stay here.
We loved every minute of our break away and the yacht was beautiful everything you needed was on board Erwann was lovely he made our stay special gutted we didn't get to say bye to Mike the neighbour next door sure we will see you soon we will definitely be booking back up we will never be staying in a hotel in Gibraltar again this luxury yacht was just the best
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the town. You can park your car outside and not use it while you're there. It's right next to the main street with the shops and places to eat and just a few minutes walk to one of the marinas. The hotel room was really clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Excellent!
The location is very good along with the community parking lot right across from the hotel. We did not use the pool but the pool-top decks were very nice to relax after a very long day of hiking the rock or touring the many other Gibraltar sites. The hotel was a very short distance from the middle main center street.
What a clever unique, creative accommodation! delightful location just minutes away from the very walkable city centre, and great restaurants/cafes. Fabulous views from the boats. The boat owners were so welcoming and helpful with planning my best stay in Gibraltar! Such a lovely holiday!
Extremely clean, nice and modern with a cool view. Great home base in Gibraltar. Amazing staff (they’re not on site but I think close by), we would stay here again if we visit Gibraltar. Even delivered a packed from Canada for when we got married, thank you!
Location perfect for sightseeing and getting around. Hotel main areas spotlessly clean. Staff in the main attentive and happy to help. Bed was amazing - unbelievable comfort. Room was good size but let down by lack of storage when staying for a week.
the property was spotless and the owner was a gentleman will definitely be staying there again, over the years I’ve been coming to Gibraltar I’ve stayed in all the hotels including the Sunborn and this property beats them all by a long chalk
The Rock House is a short walk from the town centre, views from the balcony were amazing. Room was spacious, breakfast - plenty of choice.. Staff friendly and helpful.
Walk back to hotel is uphill, taxi is cheap if you need to get one.
