The view is superb. I took a room on the second floor with a balcony and enjoyed the view all the day. The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice with a lot of great food and alcohol options. The stuff is super nice.

The apartment was very nice and new with new appliances and furnishings. Tiziana and her family were very friendly and looked after any requests. The apartment is in the nice small town of a Mergozzo and only steps from the beautiful lake.

Mergozzo is a beautiful old town on the edge of Lake Mergozzo. There are many amazing places to stay and have food and the most delicious ice cream is sold on the town square. There are activities on the lake such as paddle boarding, canoeing and peddle boats and you can hike several different paths from the town. It is in close proximity to Lake Maggiore which offers boat trips to its islands and has many restaurants overlooking the lake. The views are stunning.MargaretUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Its a very peaceful place, close enough to the other lakes. The restaurants were all dog friendly and the service and quality was brilliant. The old town has got cobbled streets and some very old buildings.

We were there for a wedding so only booked a few days but I now wish we could have stayed longer to really explore the area. Mergozzo is much quieter and relaxed than Stresa and some of the other towns nearby which were too crowded and touristy for me. It's a beautiful location with several decent bars and restaurants to choose from and lots of things to do nearby.MELANIE

The kitchen is very well furnished and beds are very comfortable. Everything is modern and perfect for customers need. The little cabin was nicely decorated and comfortable, set away in the middle of a camellia farm. We could eat our breakfast (coffee, yogurt, fruit juice, and fruit) sitting surrounded by nature that we had to ourselves. There is a good restaurant a short walk away in Bracchio. For the more adventurous Mergozzo and its lake is only 15 easy minutes on foot.

It was relaxing to have a meal at the restaurant downstairs, especially the croissants at breakfast, while staring at the beautiful view of the lake and mountain. At the end of a long day, it was also nice to just sit at the balcony while enjoying the view.
