Everything! The rooms are simply amazing. Huge, comfortable but the amazing artwork makes it extra special! It's beautiful!! The location is perfect, facing the cathedral. The staff was terrific as well as the great breakfast on the roof deck. Sorry we could stay longer!

The owner was enthusiastic and hospitable. Every time he saw me he offered me coffee and cookies. Also they offered for an additional charge a traditional family style Italian dinner. All of the guests who chose to ate together at a huge table. It was a delightful, friendly experience the food was incredible, coffee, wine and liquor were included. The price was very reasonable. The room and bed were very comfy.
The location is excellent only a few steps from the Piazza Trigona and the Cathedral

As soon as we arrived here in late September, we wished we had booked for a longer stay. We had a room for our family of 3 but there were no cancellations for the following day although we kept checking.
As others have remarked, this is an exquisite place and such a lovely respite which was so welcome after several weeks of traveling. Our room was very comfortable, all in the bathroom worked very well, our breakfast and dinner were delicious. I would really recommend that you stay longer than a single night. It is so worth it.

The room was great and a good location for what I I was doing. The room was very comfortable and unique. I had lots of choices close by for eating. Parking was a short distance away, and I opted to pay for the parking to ensure I could leave the car there for two days. Cost was negligible. Excellent room and very helpful host.

The Romana Casale was terrific.
The Romana Casale was terrific. Better than we might have imagined. It is slightly outside of the town.
The town was difficult to navigate--the narrowest streets we have experienced, and you must climb straight up to reach open restaurants, near as we can tell. It is likely different during high season, with more things open.

The city has a particular charm very different from the towns in the Val de Noto we visited and one has a much stronger sense of thousands (!) of years of continual living and history. Make sure to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, fantastic!

Incredible historical area.
Incredible historical area. So many ancient temples in one place with detailed information posted throughout the site. Take a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. It is easy to get around though not always on even ground. Easy to park at either entrance, allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There is also a cafe on site.

Piazza Armerina, the incredible Roman villa and mosaics was a highlight of our 12 days in Sicily. and absolute 'must' but recommend that you see the INCREDIBLE mosaics at opening or near closing time so you are not hemmed in by busloads of people and explanations from Babylon. (I speak many languages, but not all at once!) The town itself was very nice as well. Cute terraces, little park, beautiful historic buildings and little cobblestone streets. Ample (paid, inexpensive) parking everywhere.
(Regarding the B&B: the 2nd 'B' is supposed to refer to 'breakfast'. There was absolutely nothing! Many places in Sicily had a Q-code or such so you could go and have breakfast somewhere. A cute idea if you're not one who needs that 1st coup of coffee at rising, but this should be noted in the description prior to payment!)

This hotel villa was awesome. The rooms were cozy, very nice eating area with a morning buffet with a protein (eggs) for us Americans. In the evening we had a seems like a 7-course meal. More than we could consume. Communicate well with the staff to make sure you know what you are getting. The staff was very accommodating. This B&B is on a hill with beautiful views over the town. They have a very nice pool and I'm sure it will be packed during the tourist season. We went in May when there are not that many tourists. Parking was easy.
The room is in big private house on a hill overlooking Piazza Armerina. It is easy to reach the house from the main road and also to get to the center of the town. Magnificent view of the town. Great breakfast in a the large dining room with fine old furniture and a big table with a lot of food. Large windows to the view of the town and large balcony. Guests eat together in a familiar atmosphere. Luciano is a very friendly host . Parking is in the garden of the house or just near the gate - safe place. I recommend this place.
CHARMING! the most charming and creatively designed property we have stayed at it. it was matched only by the incredible graciousness of its owner. He not only met us to help us park our car, but carried our luggage to the property and up the stairs. He was also so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants and other information. The breakfast was amazing with so many delicious choices. it was a totally delightful stay and we cannot say enough great things about the owner and his property.
Fantastic breakfast. Unbelievable variety of cheese, ham, sausages, bread, selfmade pastries and marmalade. Just the breakfast alone is worth the trip.
We had dinner and Ettore is a fantastic chef. Fresh and very delicious food. Selfmade wine and limoncello.
Piazza Armerina is a nice Place to visit but actually we came only for this bed and breakfast and it’s been worth 1000%
Go there if you visit Sicily.
Ines and Ettore mille Grazie per la vostra calorosa ospitalita
Fantastic location for visiting central Sicily or for attending an event at the popular Tenuta Savoca venue (just 9 min away by car).
The accomodation was extremely clean, breakfast offered is both sweet and savoury and the hosts are very friendly, welcoming and caring. Rooms are quiet, spacious and equipped with A/C.
A fantastic stay, and I will definitely stay here again should I be visiting central Sicily.
This appartment is one of the best value in Sicily. The appartment is large, clean, confortable and stylish (sicilian style). The hosts are very sympathic and helpfull. I stayed there one time with my wife and two daughters and decide to return later because I was back in the area. And one last thing : the view on the old city is exceptionnal!
The pool and gardens are idyllic, and the breakfast was the best I had in Sicily. Just not an overnight, you need to stay longer to let the peacefulness sink in. You can use it as a base for day trips, or just be lazy like me and enjoy a book and some wine by the pool. I only wish they served dinner, then I wouldn't ever have to leave!
Hosts were super welcoming and helpful. The accomodation was brand new, stylish and comfortable. B'fast also exceeded our expectations. We were travelling across Sicily with our own car and private parking in the residence was also another bonus. We will surely return to stay here again.
Hotel is close to the city center (5 min walk). Hotel has a fantastic view towards the beach.
Breakfeast was good.
Parking at the hotel is a challange, entrance is quite small and steep. You have to leave the car keys at the reception, they will park your car.
Breakfast was amazing, plentiful, delicious and the food kept coming . Our host was lovely, made most of the food himself and much came from his garden. He was generous in allowing us to store luggage when we visited nearby Villa Romano del Casale
Neat and clean, beautiful surrounding, best place ever to visit Piazza Armerina, la casale romana, Aidone and Morgantina with his breathtaking hellenistic area.
By the way : nearby you will find a supermarket
Location, quiet and cozy. The host, Davide, even took us for a drive around Piazza Armerina and gave us valuable leads to local restaurants. In the morning he made an excellent breakfast. A Five Star host
Very special and historic family site located near Piazza Armerina.Beautiful and great garden .The dinner and the breakfast were very good with classic sicilian food..Low price for high quality.
Staff very helpful and breakfast was in cafe downstairs.
Also liked our visit to the lovely town of Piazza Armerina & visiting the wonderful mosaics of villa Roma.
Very nice owner, we had beautiful rooms, great pool in the garden. The city of Piazza Armerina is beautiful, it has its own charm, especially in the evening.
Centrally located in the old town, a bus stops in front of the hotel to take you to Villla Romana.
Helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Supermarket nearby.
