The tourist tax was much more than the information on the website, I didn't pay 4 euros per night, I paid 40 euros for 2 nights

So beautiful inside and out. The room was spacious and classy. The breakfast was served with fine china in a room looking out at the water. The tables along the shoreline made for a wonderful happy hour. The staff was super nice throughout. Very relaxing place to stay !

The location was good - easy walk from the train, and near to lovely views, restaurants, sites. The hotel is elegant and well appointed - be certain to confirm that the room booked is the one that you receive - ours was different and we were a bit disappointed (ex, no kettle, not bathtub). Definitely visit the roof terrace - the service is outstanding - it is quiet and romantic! We would have loved this hotel if they had not called to cancel our second night during the second day - caused a stressful difficulty in locating another hotel and they did not help!

So many LESS tourists than Sorrento, which was right next door. Free beach for swimming, and good choice of restaurants. Close to Sorrento (one stop on the local train), handy for Pompeii - 30 mins. There's lift to the beach and harbour so you don't have to climb 50m of cliffs! Nice park at the top of the cliffs with a cafe to relax in and enjoy the views.

It’s close to Sorrento (in walking distance) but it’s less busy and also has a lot to offer (bars, cafes, beach…).
Also very easy to move around (Naples, Pompei, Positano, Amalfi, Capri…) from there.
Would highly recommend staying there for visiting the area.

I stayed with my friend at this wonderful place with the lemon orchard back in July for 2 days. The house and the orchard are absolutely beautiful, the house if very clean and has all the necessary amenities. The hostess is amazing, super kind, helpful and accessible. I highly recommend this place and intend to return to stay longer.

a bit crowdy and polluted from all the cars and scooters.
a bit crowdy and polluted from all the cars and scooters. the mayor should allow only electric scooters and cars. Perhaps, I would loved to have a more reliable city bus schedule and not wait for the bus or not knowing when it comes. The info on the timetable was not accurate.
The staff at the hotel are excellent. They are so knowledgeable and charming and there is nothing they won’t try to do for you. The three ladies on reception were so helpful. The hotel is beautiful. We had a lovely terraced room with a sea view. The location of the hotel was perfect. It’s just outside Sorrento so when it’s busy in the centre it’s lovely to return to the haven of your beautiful hotel. Only downside to location is there’s not much to walk to in the area. However they have a shuttle bus that takes you into town.
Perfect location, incredible host. Mariano has thought through all the details that could happen in a hotel. very clean, quiet and central. The breakfasts are very delicious. Mariano is not only a perfect host but also a wonderful guide and helpfully supported us with every need we had. A reminder for those who will stay in this hotel; Not only bed and breakfast, but all services that will be useful to you are available. Thanks Mariano. see you next year!!
The location is like a fairytale. From the gate to the reception only lemon trees and palms. Pool is the same. Is situated near a beach that can be accessed by elevator or by stairs. It's in a quiet area of the town which is very nice. 23 minutes walk exactly from Sorrento city center. The walk is very nice to the center there'a a lot of buildings and picturesque hotels to look at. Room is clean spacious the walk in shower big and cozy.
Sant'Agnello is a quieter Sorrento, so definitelly recommend. Just 1 stop by train. The hotel is 7min from the train station. All very convenient, nice restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is refurbished, it is from the 60s and the mix of the new and vintage makes you feel well. Breakfasts were fine, a bit of everything from everything - eggs, ham, cheese, salami, fruit, vegetables, cakes, joghurt, cornflakes. Good for a 2 day stay.
The property was much better than I anticipated
We got lucky to get a room on the 2nd floor which was completely renovated and remodelled.
Very clean, beautiful view from the balcony,
gorgeous garden with lots of lemon and mandarin trees.
Good position, walking distance to bus and train station.
The breakfast was good, same food every day but more then enough, so no complaints at all.
I will definitely recommend this hotel!
We had a Great time!
Paul (the host) was super nice and friendly, he was very helpful and made sure we were happy and comfortable the whole time. He made sure to check in regularly and was giving us great tips on how to get around and the good spots to go to.
The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable and perfect distance from Sorrento!
I would highly recommend and would definitely come back again
This is a reliable and in the good sense of the word traditional hotel. It had a "grand hotel"-feel to it, and offers very good facilities in the room, very good breakfast and no hidden (negative) surprises. We liked the free shuttle to Sorrento. Staff was professional and friendly. Hotel is not too modern but very well maintained. Good choice for a few nights.
absolutely beautiful hotel. the poolside dining was delicious. our bed was incredibly comfortable and room was spacious and clean. we had our 2 year old wish us and she slept very well in her own little bed - the roof top bar is stunning, the staff was incredibly nice and made us all feel very special! the view was incredible! can’t wait to go back!
Hotel Angelina was exactly what we were looking for. It is newly renovated, very modern and spacious. We thought it was great value for money. Marco was exceptionally pleasant to deal with. The location is a 25 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento, however the train stop is less than 5 mins and the beach club is 10 mins walk.
Located next to red light district not appropriate for kids, front desk person (who had silhouettes of naked women on his shirt at check in) gave our room number to taxi driver, lack of security and professionalism, sheets felt oily and dirty like they had not been washed we left and found another hotel for the night
Fabulous hotel, shuttle bus every hour on the hour into Sorrento (5mins drive), amazing pool and beach area, room was fabulous with twice a day cleaning service, new towels every evening. Breakfast was phenomenal and the view from the breakfast balcony. Cannot recommend enough.
The sunset views from here are unreal - no matter how many others you’ve seen in Sorrento from various viewpoints. The hotel restaurant had one of the best dinners of our trip - and we were SO stunned at the breakfast area - absolutely stunning views and food was also great.
This hotel has a great history and it has been remodeled beautifully. Large room with a comfortable bed and great pillows! The staff is very helpful, and attentive. They have a wonderful breakfast menu with delicious food. A wonderful garden area, too.
Away from the Sorrento crowds, handy for local bars and restaurants and a 15 minute walk to San Agnello train station. For all the hotel's faults the cleaning staff were great and kept our room spotless on a daily basis.
Hotel Alpha was the perfect location, easy enough to get to Sorrento (via train) but also calm away from the crowds. Staff were very helpful, it was clean, great food & lovely pool services with a bar all day!
The hospitality of the staff, they were always willing to help and to recommend things to do/visit. The view when you step out of the hotel ia amazing.
