I love St Francis of Assisi so this was wonderful for me.
I love St Francis of Assisi so this was wonderful for me. It is also one of my favorite places /towns during my 5 weeks in Italy and Sicily. I actually gave up going to Florence to come here and I'm glad I did .BarbUnited States of America

There is no shortage of amenities such as cutlery and cooking utensils. It is close to the heart of the city with restaurants only a few minutes walk away. The bus to and from Assisi stops within 100 metres from the apartment. Francesco and Stefania are the most welcoming hosts offering suggestions for things to do and see, and the homemade biscuits and Easter cake were much appreciated. Our room was big, beds comfortable, bathroom clean. We loved the terrace and free water in the fridge. All sacred sights were close - either on foot or by bus to Assisi centro (top of the hill). Train station is also just around the corner. Simple snacks were available in the room + we got small breakfast for free in a café next to the church. Location was perfect. 2 minutes walk to the beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Plenty of restaurants and gelato close by. A 20 minutes drive and you are at the Assisi and the basicila of St Francisco. The hosts Stefania and Francesco were wonderful and helpful and nothing was any trouble. Free parking is near the appartment and there is bus is going to Assisi (every 20 minutes or so) just about 100 metres from the appartment. The location was perfect - we could easily move to other city by train and also we could go to the central area by bus. The hotel was very cosy and full of good amenities.
