Quiet secluded area but you can drive to Mikkeli in a short time. Make sure to wake up at 4am in summer and observe the pristine, glassy water snd early morning sunrise. There are shared bathrooms near the cabin we stayed in and an on-site restaurant for meals. it’s also close to Mikkeli. Food was excellent, the manor beautiful and the staff friendly. Moreover, my room had excellent curtains - I was able to sleep in complete darkness even with the sun rising already before 4 am (summer nights in Finland are ridiculously short).

Good key system and easy check-in and check-out. Hotel is in good silent area. This is one of the cleanest hostels that I visited.
