We went to visit family and didn’t see very much of the area...
We went to visit family and didn’t see very much of the area however what we saw was lovely. The town itself is small but very cute, there is a medieval town not far and lots of beautiful scenery surrounding the town.

The chateau is gorgeous set amongst vineyards and open countryside. The bedrooms are located alongside the chateau in separate low-level buildings. Our room was spacious with a very nice bathroom and a lovely comfy bed.
A highlight of our stay was a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant. The food was fantastic - fresh produce carefully prepared and exquisitely presented. A particular highlight was our dessert - the best one we have had in a long time!
This is one of those hotels I like to write a review about. It is well-located, both for a tourist guest (Beaujolais wine region) and for a business traveller between the North-East and the South of France, just 40 km North of Lyon and next to the A6 freeway exit/entrance. The rooms are grouped per six in separate pavillons with ample parking space near the room, and the reception and - excellent - restaurant are in a central building.
The hotel has seen its best days, but there's a charming whiff of "old glory" over it. The classic Motel layout with bungalows with parking right next to the rooms breathes 50s Americana Road Culture. The price is very good, staff on duty all day and very friendly.
The grounds and the buildings were lovely with some great views.... the rooms at the front of the hotel were great with parking just outside. Dinner was good with the dogs allowed everywhere. Breakfast was self service but good selection
our stay was as usual very pleasant after a long drive we have stayed at this hotel many times and we have allwas been made wellcome even when arriving after 11pm when caught in a near 400 mile traffic jam all the way from Spain !!
This is a well situated hotel with beautiful grounds and well equipped rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed a swim in the very nice pool. The staff were welcoming and helpful
Very warm welcoming, in the Hotel and in the Oenotheque Vins Pizay, very much helpful staff, very well designed and well-kept garden. It was really a good coincidence to watch to the marathon as well.
A building with lots of character.
Owners, a young family with 2 small children, where very accommodating. Only had the hotel for 2 months…
