It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end restaurants and a patisserie. There is nothing else. It’s handy for visiting Pegasus bridge but the busses stop running at about 9am and don’t return till about 5

A nice small town made famous by the taking of the Benouville Bridge by the British Airborne glider section in WW2 (renamed Pegasus Bridge for the badge of the regiment). Excellent museum and visit the local cemetery as many WW2 British soldiers who were KIA rest there.IanAustralia

The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Parking is secure. It is absolutely the perfect accommodation if you are arriving or departing by ferry at Ouistreham (or if you want to visit places such as Pegasus Bridge). We absolutely loved it and would recommend it without reservation.
