Amazing little town that we stumbled across when planning our trip and quickly became a highlight. Quiet streets for strolling around, amazing scenery, lots of restaurants and bars, plus local producers such as wine, cheese and chacuterie merchants, soaps and other Lavendar products from the area. Store and hospitality workers were all friendly and welcoming.
Parking is limited in the town, but options are a close walk.

The village is really beautiful and charming !
The village is really beautiful and charming ! The restaurant are good and the staffs really friendly. Be just careful if you go in high season because the village is really small for the amount of people visiting so be sure to go early to find parking space and to book a restaurant for dinner.
If you stay close from the village you will enjoy to spend some time also in the gorges du verdon.

Beautiful mountain town to visit, gourmet food options and nice local eateries. Make sure you book as restaurants are small. We had the wild honey deserts most night which was lovely. There’s a lot to cocktail places with live music. Nice old church up many steps you can visit. Pastel coloured properties which are pretty to look at. Easy to walk around and there’s a little train if you can’t do the slope you can catch.

It was very very busy.
It was very very busy. We drove there the first time but wished we hadn’t as there was absolute chaos and gridlock in the car park. We ended up leaving. The second time we tried we parked at the bottom and got the little train up. It was much better. Lovely scenic village but the artisan souvenirs are very very expensive. Lovely places to have a drink and a snack or a meal. My advice get the little train up don’t take your car!!! We toured the Verdon Gorge early Sunday morning it was breathtaking. Because we went early we could stop when we wanted for pictures and there wasn’t much traffic.

This is a great town and with many restaurants, shops and nearby attractions. The ‘old town’ is very authentic, whilst the nearby Verdon Gorge is one of nature’s masterpieces. Watch the town’s cascades, walk up to the chapel, shop, head to the lake for a swim or kayak paddle. I’d recommend at least 3 nights, but 4 or 5 nights in Moustiers would be better.

Idyllic village with lots to offer travellers - especially active ones keen to hike and explore the mountains. Excluding obvious highlights like the waterfalls, Kako's bar is a must visit at night, cafe gourmandies for coffee or rose with a view, and please avoid Le Four pizzeria - overly salty and the cheese is cheddar or something instead of mozzarella, really rancid sour stuff.
Do visit! Beautiful place for couples in particular
Also best to have a rental car as transport links aren't great. But that's true of most semi-remote locations

Les Olivier’s was a sweet little place in a perfect location- close to the Gorges du Verdon as well as Moustiers-Sainte-Marie- a picturesque village with restaurants and shoppes. The host was kind and friendly and greeted us warmly at check in. She also provided us with a beautiful breakfast and created a wonderfully inviting space and atmosphere. The photos don’t do the space justice as we were pleasantly surprised with how cute and nice the space actually was in person. We loved our stay and will be back!!
The location is great, central, and the best fact is that there is free parking for hotel guests, which makes it so much easier.
We had a nice spacious room (no elevator to the room) with a nice view on the street and the mountains.
Please note that the ground floor is also a resturant so when you arrive just talk to whoever is behind the bar and tell them you want to check in. But don't worry, we didn't hear a sound from the resrurant.
Overall, good value for money.
We really enjoyed this hotel. It is located perfectly to the village nearby with amazing restaurants, but most importantly located very close to Gorges du Verdon. The lake is a 10-15 minute drive and we really wish we stayed more here. Breakfast was also very nice offering 3 pastries, yogurt, bread with jam and butter, OJ and a hot drink of your choice. The interior was also wonderful and the staff is friendly. Parking is huge and easy
La Bouscatière is an exceptional bed & breakfast right at the heart of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie's center. It's a historical house renovated and furnished with great taste and so much attention to details. It truly feels special and a true luxurious haven in le Verdon.
Kirsten was also a perfect host and very easy to reach.
Absolutely phenomenal beyond words. We loved our stay – the town was lovely, the B&B was well located, the nearby restaurants were delicious, and the breakfast was the perfect start to every day. I cannot wait to come back to visit Moustiers-Sainte-Marie again and, when I do, I will certainly stay at La Bouscatière.
Well placed between Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and the lake. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner is lovely and she provided a delicious breakfast in the garden with yummy croissants, bread and yogurt. There's no AC, but there is a fan.
Absolutely beautiful hotel tucked away from moistures saint marie.
Our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains from both the bedroom and bathroom. Both rooms were spacious and clean. Shower was modern and had good temperature and pressure control.
The studio is in the centre of the very beautiful village, near the shops and restaurants. Very beautiful view from the studio. It has everything you need for the stay. The host is very communicative and you will get all the info you need.
Nice hotel with a very good location. We had a view looking out on the valley that was very nice. Room was clean a quite large. We liked the location a lot, breakfast was decent. No complaints, would stay here again. Town is very pretty.
The owner and staff are the friendliest hoteliers one can find. Truly exceptional place … be prepared to go on a diet after your stay as the food in their restaurant is amazing with sumptuous portions…
Thank you !!
We absolutely loved Clos des Iris! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the location was perfect! Such a cute little hotel, we couldn't fault it!
Lovely hotel, well located. Moustiers is lovely, you could walk into the centre (although the road isn’t lit), we decided to drive. Friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms.
Charming, garden setting just below the main part of the Moustiers-Sainte-Marie village with an easy walk through the woods up to the main entry street. Quiet, calm.
Excellent location, breakfast with a view was beautiful and the hotel staff were very helpful for our stay. Great location for exploring the surroundings
