The owners were really sweet and lovely. We paid extra for the warm breakfast and they are not stingy with the servings, so I would recommend. She also gave my daughters some extra Easter eggs she had (since we were there a few days after Easter). The room was clean and quiet. It was about a 15 minute drive to the airport and there's a gas station on the way to refill the rental car.

The location was excellent. Communication was fabulous. Everything was very modern and new and clean. We will def be back and def recommend to friends and family. Another plus point was being able to bring our dog with us.

The hotel was very nice and our room was comfortable and clean. The location was gorgeous. Breakfast was included and had a large number of choices to suit all tastes. Malahide is a lovely town and very easy to walk around. If you wish to travel further, there are trains and busses to Dublin and other nearby towns.

Balbriggan is an ongoing developing town that will progress to becoming a place to visit for art, music, and culture. There are a few quirky cafes on or close to the main street. This is a town awaiting development.
We ate in the Lala restaurant, an exceptional meal with delicious food. It provided a simplistic choice of 5 starters, and 5 mains to suit all palates. Both the braised lamb and the Seabass were complimented perfectly with tasty sauces allowing the discerning wine drinker to choose either red or white wine.
The wine list was short and provided an excellent choice to match the food available. Although the overall experience was excellent, there may be scope to add a cheese board for those diners who do not eat dessert or prefer a savory finish to their meal.

Balbriggan was our last stop.
Balbriggan was our last stop. This was our fourth trip to Ireland. The town seemed depressed and run down. There were boarded up shops and most of the town needed fresh paint. People weren't as friendly and seemed distrusting. There was "community watch" in tact and the community was extremely diverse. Ireland is always grand no matter what, but I would not slot this town on my itinerary again.

Balbriggan is a lovely town outside Dublin . The beautiful sea surrounds it and I love hearing the sea gulls. Lots of amenities and shops there and it was nice and quiet at night time, to sleep in . Not too far from Dublin City Centre .

It's a quiet little town on the beach with only little of interest but the outdoors. So depending on what you like you choose the period of time you want to stay here. In all honesty, I was there to visit a friend and we did a lot of outdoors stuff so I could have stayed a lot longer. If you are only there for culture you can do with 2 days................ It also has good transport in the Dart, train and bus.

Balbriggan was ideal, its location to Laytown races was great (9 euros return on the train).
We had a curry on the same road as the train station it was superb.
Plenty of bookies and pubs for the gamblers amongst us.
The Bedford House and staff were wonderful. The room was the best we stayed in Ireland and everything was clear and comfortable. The breakfasts appeared to be excellent (as I was told by my family), but I came to Bedford House not well and was not able to enjoy the food. That was certainly not their fault. They bent over backwards offering help to bring any food I could eat to my room and they helped my family find the pharmacy and also some other places they could eat at night. I would definitely go back there if I am ever in the area again.
This hotel deserves superlatives. Friendly, helpful staff; clean, comfortable room tastefully but individually decorated; exceptional breakfast menu [included in the room price] served in the adjoining La La restaurant. Good parking space. Walking distance (or inexpensive taxi ride) from the railway station. Quiet location but within a few minutes walk of the main shopping street. Bus stop 2-3 minutes walk away.
The hotel is in an ideal area very close to the beach. We spent Easter at the hotel. A nice surprise awaited us on Sunday morning. The Easter Bunny visited the hotel and left us an Easter egg at the door. The rooms are cozy, atmospheric, they have comfortable mattresses and pillows. Delicious breakfast and very nice staff. Everyone we met was smiling and very kind. Thank you
rooms are dated but the bed is so comfortable! great room facilities- Tv excellent tea&coffee making area and showers hot! spotless clean
FOOD was exquisite! we have the 3 course in the main restaurant and every serving was superb!
Lauren was amazing in the restaurant! super chatty and a great staff member for the hotel
breakfast was good also
free parking was a bonus
Quick overnight pre airport stay. Spacious room, beds not great mattresses, ate in hotel restaurant/bar. Was OK and reasonable. Didn't explore the area. No breakfast as left early. Seemed expensive for what you got but then other Dublin "airport area" hotels are pricey. We drove the 20 min down the motorway to drop rental car at the airport.
Great helpful, courteous staff who went above and beyond to help us as we needed to extend our stay by three nights. Very comfortable rooms, and great breakfast and pub food in the restaurant in the hotel. Convenient to many other places in Balbriggen! Complimentary parking was a great added benefit! Thanks for a great stay! :-)
Room was very nice. Perfect location to stay flying in and out of Dublin airport. We liked it so much coming into Ireland that we stayed there again the night before leaving Ireland from Dublin airport. The restaurant/bar was superb. Should have eaten there our first night, but we didn’t know it was so awesome!
They gave me the exact room I requested which I'm really grateful for. I've never stayed in that room but I did stay in the hotel before. At the checkout a housekeeping staff left the door wide open so I said to myself I want this room next and I came back and they got it for me. Serious thanks for that.
The dining room is beautifully and stylishly furnished, with pleasant piano music playing giving a calming atmosphere. The choice of fruits, compotes etc at the buffet was unbelievable, and the hot menu just superb, and of course, delicious. It’s probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had!
Such a cool hotel, the rooms are done up so nicely and very quirky. Lovely staff, easy check in. The beds are the comfiest hotel beds I’ve stayed in. Breakfast is included and has plenty of options and was fabulous every time. Close to shops and cafes.
Very cute boutique hotel in a town near the beach. Very close to the Ardgillan Castle. Friendly staff who also gave me a packaged breakfast for my early departure to the airport. The La La restaurant was also good
Impressive size to rooms and bathroom. Very clean and overall good value for money. Parking paid for by the hotel too. Breakfast very good. Chef on hand to cook fresh eggs. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Lovely welcome as you come through the door. The staff are excellent in customer service skills.Best food in Ireland.Bar staff pull a lovely pint on draught.Spotless rooms and comfy beds.
The room had alot of space and i didnt feel crammed into a small hotel room. I didnt have any dinner or breakfast but the bar downstairs and other sitting areas looked very comfortable.
Lovely hotel and brilliant staff..rooms were clean, nice and warm. The breakfast was beautiful and also the food from the restaurant was tasty..live music was great too.
