Everything was unbelievably good. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were exceptional. The staff are so kind and helpful. The pictures really don’t do the rooms justice - they’re really lovely, very clean and comfortable. Perfect location for seeing a show at Seachurch.

The setting is beautiful, the vibe is very relaxing. The jazz guys in the bar on Saturday night were brilliant.

Easy check in, perfect size room and bathroom and comfortable bed!
Ballycotton is a lovely little village. The people are friendly and its fun visiting the different little pubs on the Main Street. The food at the Sea church restaurant was superb. The schooner tavern was the ideal accomodation for us with comfortable rooms with ensuite. The staff were lovely and the food was very nice particularly the full breakfast

It’s a remotely located, small seaside village with very few amenities so if you are looking for entertainment and nightlife, it’s probably not the place for you. But if you like coastal walks, tranquility, nature, peace and quiet- you will love Ballycotton!

The bed was huge and extra comfortable!
The bed was huge and extra comfortable! The room had a view on the ocean and this was simply amazing! Pity the restaurant in the hotel is closed during the week.. this could be said more explicitly while booking. But there are nice places to go to eat nearby, like Pier 26! The food was simply amazing!

Great village, stunning location, awesome bars.
Great village, stunning location, awesome bars. If you love running as I do then take your running gear and go on a stunning run - I did and I wish all my runs were as beautiful as the one I had last weekend.

The focus of the village is on the harbour.
The focus of the village is on the harbour. Cliff top walks and a good base from which to explore nearby villages and beaches. Cork is not so far away - only 30 minutes to Cobh well worth a day visiting heritage sites, exhibitions and museums.
It was a very clean, well kept room. Its location above a pub on the main street in Ballycotton just added to the experience as we enjoyed hearing the music & night life through the dormer window. The complimentary breakfast down in the pub was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner food in the pub was also good. We weren't sure what to expect from this stay but were glad we did it and would sty at this location again.
We has a great stay in a wonderful location with several options for bars and restaurants. We were a short walk from the cliffs and the pier as well. The option to crack the window for a glorious sea breeze made for a great night sleep. We had a wonderful time and the breakfast the next morning was just the perfect cherry on top!
This was such a fun spot to stay in Ballycotton! We happened to go when there wasn’t many food places open, but this was nice and central. It was right across the road from a good swimming place and also a couple of other pubs. It was really clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic!
WE stayed for the week-end in the Schooner guest house in Ballycotton. Despite Covid-19 restrictions we had a wonderful week-end. The room was spotless and the food lovely. Great location right in the middle of the village. The owner was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Pat was a great host.....very welcoming, always positive; we missed meeting Anna ! Breakfast was fabulous, lot of space for parking, small pantry outside room was a great facility; so peaceful and beautiful and yet could reach other places to sightsee in 20--40 mins.... highly recommended
Great location for an event we attended in Seachurch but central to everywhere in Ballycotton. Staff were so friendly, people in general anywhere we went were friendly.
Room was very clean, comfortable and great value. Won’t go passed staying here again when we go back.
We loved everything: our room was perfect, quiet with a comfortable bed and great bedding.
The staff were amazing—- always going out if tbeir way to be helpful and enhance your stay. The restaurant needs no description—-wonderful food cooked with great love and care.
I have a long association with the hotel since before our wedding reception there over fifty years ago. We were both born in East Cork and Garryvoe was a frequent haunt. It is always good to revisit and revive the memories of "Happy Days".
Nice spot for a family or group. Area is quiet Monday and Tuesday but gets busier later in the week.
Nice big house and nice restaurants in ballycotton and around
