The staff was beyond amazing. They anticipated needs I didn't even think of and made sure everything was beyond expectations. They took the time to get to know us and planned experiences that suited us. Every staff member knew our names and always stopped to say hello and check on us.

Coral Sands Hotel, hotel in Gregory Town

Located on 3.1 mi of beach, this Bahamas hotel offers snorkeling and lounge chairs at the beach. Rooms include a cable TV.

Coral sands is a older place, nice , but not worth the prices they charge… and I had to check out early due to mechanical issues, and no chance of even a partial refund for the night I didn’t stay. Abd it was well within the time frame of cancellation. Staff was the best service we experienced on the whole island

Eleuthera is a long and narrow island.

Eleuthera is a long and narrow island. That does not mean there are good beaches all over it, though. Gregory Town has some lovely beaches that you can have all to yourself. It is truly settled, so you can find convenience - bars, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies all in short distances from each other. The roads are a bit better in Gregory Town than in some parts of Eleuthera. The people are really friendly, so you will be comfortable there.

The location is quite rual and no real activities nearby.

The location is quite rual and no real activities nearby. Flight with pineapple air was ok, but don't expect a good aircraft. Directly next to the accommodation is nearly nothing. You have to take a car to go somewhere. Did one day at Habour island, which was nice. And another to Spanish Wels - which was even more pretty. So both interesting - also the stop at the bridge and at Queens bath. But you really need also the ability to stay with yourselves.
