the way the city sits on the mountain is fantastically beautiful. It's all white buildings, very charming. The town itself is interesting to visit for an afternoon, or a day. The streets are very crowded with cars and there is a lot of exhaust, there are also souvenir and silver shops everywhere, so it felt extremely crowded and touristy. great church and zocalo, worth visiting for a day. I don't think you need more time than that. Also the caves on the outside of town the Grutas de Taxco are fantastic and totally worth a visit.

Beautiful tourist town.
Beautiful tourist town. All the businesses of the town were accommodating to non-Spanish speakers, and many shop employees spoke at least a little English. There were many people in the town square who wanted to "guide" us to various things with the expectation that we would tip them, but we were able to say "no" without reprisal. Many soldiers and Federal police officers were on patrol in the town which proved to be good for keeping the populace safer. Prices of souvenirs, food, alcohol, taxis, and hotels was very reasonable.

The town reminded me of Spain...charming, rustic, and with an old-world air. Loved the town. Wish I could have stayed longer than two nights and seen more. I hope to return one day. It is now a favorite town in Mexico.
Beautiful colonial town. Exceptional architecture. The ones with some money or with big money, trying to cash in more and more on mass tourism, national and international, building 2 and 3 more 3 floors for renters on top of old colonial houses and hotels. Height of these constructions not so impressive from street level, but scary, considering earthquakes, when seem from bottom of hill.

The location is great, right in the middle of town (which is not too big) so it is easy to walk anywhere from there. The building itself was amazing, very pretty, and traditional. Just the views from the hotel are worth the stay. The restaurant had good food and very good prices. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful.
The hotel did not provide breakfast but did provide coffee and water. Front desk staff, especially Rueben were very helpful. Noise level at night was low and I was able to sleep well. I had a patio in the back of my room with a view. Walk into the center of town took about 20 minutes.
One of my favourite hotels in Mexico.
This hotel is beautiful and perfectly located.
Rooms were clean, spacious and the views from the roof might be the best in the town.
The pool is beautiful as well and the restaurant food is also great. Can not fault. Just stunning
Perfectly situated hotel with stunning views from multiple terraces. Lovely small pool. Beautifully decorated. The restaurant is one of the better ones in town and serves a nice variety of food until late. Have already come back a second time and would do so again any day.
It is okay for one night when you are alone and just need a bed. The hotel is modern, parkings are right ahead and WiFi works well. I slept quite well here but would prefer another hotel with a view next time I return to Taxco.
Location is just amazing, right in the centre of town and across the cathedral. Outstanding views and location for sure. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was pretty yummy and staff members were really kind and he helpful.
Loved this hotel, you get a very big room with separate bathroom for a really good value. The view is what I loved the most about this place, it's absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend staying here!
The hotel is literally next to the Santa Prisca church. Zocalo is just a minute walk and lots of restaurants to choose from. Bed, pillows, and sheets are very comfy. Clean towels. Spacious room. AC is a plus.
everything was great! the location, the staff, the restaurant, the rooftop and the overall design of the hotel was to die for. I would definitely stay here again! cannot go wrong with this hotel!
The hotel is beautiful. The design of it is perfect, it might look old but the bed was really comfortable. The view from the city was also very pleasant
