The service was exceptional - the receptionist was polite, helpful and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The little touches - cookies, candy, delicious coffee in the room - really brightened the day. The bed was very comfortable - the best in Europe so far (we have been traveling 8 days). The breakfast was superb in taste, presentation and quantity- we actually took some “to go” as we did not want to waste any food. Thanks again for the excellent stay - this hotel is a gem.
Built in 1898, this hotel is a former wine cellar directly on the banks of the River Moselle. Hotel Filla Andre was fully renovated in 2014 and features rooms decorated on a wine-growing theme.

Breakfast was excellent, service as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Even though we arrived early and the rooms weren't ready, they allowed us to put our bags in the rooms. I would recommend booking in the main building, rather than the apartment.

I was sceptic for the buffet dinner. But turned out that quality was very good. There was roasted venison, stuffed turkey, some fish and a variety of salads, desserts etc. All quite tasty and nicely presented.
As for the room: I am not sure why the king size bed had to be two joined beds. So there was a 'gap' in the middle. Otherwise the room was excellent, clean with nice furniture. Bathroom was also clean, no smells, everything very good.
We had a room with river view, which is spectacular: the castle, the city and at night everything was illuminated.
The spa facilities were also very nice. There were not many people there, which made the whole experience quite 'personal'.

We absolutely loved Villa Vie! The room was large and provided comfortable amenities (bed, chaise lounge). Our room had a castle/river view which was breathtaking! They have tons of wine to take to your room or share on the patio that overlooks the river / castle.
Located steps away from the River Moselle, in the Sehl district of Cochem, this family-run hotel offers a heated swimming pool, spa facilities and an excellent restaurant.

Great location, spacious rooms, delicious restaurant. The pool and sauna were a relaxing bonus. The restaurant staff, especially Peggy, were wonderful and made our stay very enjoyable!

It was a great surprise when we got into the room which has a living room with kitchen and 2 France-balconies, although we have just booked a standard room. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms are super clean. The decorations are elaborate and my wife like them very much. The senior couple are extremely nice and just have their 50 years of wedding anniversary. We wish a health life for them. We will definitely come back to the hotel in the near future.
This place is amazing! Steps away from the river and right outside the town of Cochem. It was definitely a prime location. I felt like I was staying at a 5 star resort. The hotel was so beautiful and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here!
It is a charming boutique hotel with large rooms and very good bathrooms. I liked the quietness of the location as opposed to Cochem yet you are so close. It is very close to a wonderful restaurant called Pollmanns. The breakfast was good for 8 euros.
Its located right on the Mosel, approx. 4.5 KM from Cochem (which is bigger town as compared to Ernst). Hotel was easier to find, the hosts are very nice and warm. They took care of our request for early check - in. Breakfast was good.
Friendly staff willing to help, staff made an effort to make us feel welcome.
Quiet area of the village with good views either side of the hotel. Car park close so we were able to keep an eye on our bikes.
