Convenient location to reach the region´s highlights.
Convenient location to reach the region´s highlights. Very nice tour in the Nockberge mountains. Nice walk around Weissensee from Techendorf direction west and back. There is a possibility to rent a boat or take a roundtrip on a ship.
When being in a mood of getting really high, then take the Ankogel cable way from Mallnitz and walk around there (warm clothes and solid shoes strongly recommended). Or a skywalk in Malta (Kölbrein) or an observation tower Pyramidenkögel in Keutschach. You definitely get a lot more information about points of interests from the tourist prospects in every accomodation facility.
The city of Gmünd hass just the same traditional (atmosphere as many other Austrian towns, nothing special in or view. It is pretty small but cosy, you can walk it through in half a day maximum. What we found practical was the opening hours of Billa supermarket even on Sundays, which is not usual.

This town was really an unexpected, fantastic find.
This town was really an unexpected, fantastic find. It would make a great weekend trip away from Vienna. There were plenty of activities to keep us occupied over two days: a car museum, a sculpture garden, a beautiful hike, castle ruins, and a sound-music-water-art museum that is truly worth your time. It also is an artists' town, so for those looking for beautiful works, you can shop in several galleries.

Really nice and quiet old town with some cafes and restaurants. River runs through the town. Many galleries to choose from. When you want the best pizza - it's 2.5km from the town, in Restaurant Fischertratten.

It was really great place where you are able to enjoy not even gorgeous mountains, lakes waterfalls and so on but this everyhing was also upgraded by the owners of the pension. They were so helpful, kind and really nice. I would recommend this accomodation to everyone who want to spend their free time with their friend or love-ones and just enjoy it.

A charming little hotel, with a warm welcome.
The pizza at dinner was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection, one of my very top so far, and I love a great pizza.
The breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.
The serene surroundings provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and their rustic style added a charming touch to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing getaway.
The building looks old, but the hotel is renovated. The room is not too big but very comfortable. Our room also had a balcony. The bathroom is clean with good water pressure.
There are free parking spaces close to the building it was easy to park there.
Wi-Fi was working correctly.
Staff is friendly, breakfast selection is not too large but the food was rather good.
Location is very good. Quite close to the center, there is a shop (Spar) and a pizzeria (Al Dado) quite close to the house.
We really enjoyed the stay there. The location is very favourable, the equipment is the best in the region. I mean, it is not 5-stars hotel but there was everything we need incl. free parking, clean room, extra bed for kid gratis, great breakfast, nice garden with a kid's playground. All key locations around are very close to the hotel. Even weather was great! I would love to stay there again.
This is a wonderful cozy hotel in a convenient location. We wanted to break up our drive to Italy and chose Hotel Prunner for its convenient location. We were very pleased with the warm reception and delicious dinner and also with the comfortable room and very good breakfast. We would stay here again.
Our apartment was absolutely stunning and we had a wonderful stay at GH Alte Post. I really liked the breakfast tray that's waiting for us in front of the door as soon as we woke up. The hotel staff was extremely friendly too and helped us out on multiple occasions.
Excellent hotel in the city center, it has a typical austrian / vintage look which I loved. Is perfect for a vacation stay in the area and I couldn't be more happy with the choice I made. I stayed there only one night, so my review is based on this timeline.
Really great Gasthof in old style house. Very friendly stuff. Nice breakfast. Everything was fine. Very fast check inn and check out. Parking in front of the hotel in the hart of the town.
