Wonderful place, it is a working menage so if you like...
Wonderful place, it is a working menage so if you like horses, and kids learning to ride you'ĺl love it. Cleaning was very good also the room with shower etc. Fridge a bit small and wanky door but for the rest perfect.

They are exceedingly helpful and couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was quite large and very well furnished and the bathroom had a large shower and everything worked well. The swimming pool in the back was great for cooling off our feet after the long days walk and they had a washboard and place to line dry clothing. The staff are absolutely lovely, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We have felt so welcomed, no problem to stay longer when we had requested it. Great location in a beautiful village. Its a real gem. Great breakfast too and the home made bread is to die for. The building itself is truly beautiful and has a wonderful ambiance. I wish we could stay here longer…… will definitely be coming back!

However the best part about this hotel are the staff. Always going above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible and no request is to much trouble for them. During our stay, we unfortunately suffered a medical issue, the staff at the hotel were amazing and we cannot thank them enough.

The pool, full spa, outdoor bar and restaurant are all top notch. Plenty of parking. The staff was very nice, particularly Ms. Joana at reception. We loved the spa and indoor pool and we strongly recommend getting a massage there. The restaurant has great food and we didn't even want to go out for dinner. One of the high points was without any doubt the staff. We will definitely be coming back!

Quartos do Lagar seemed good and we booked and then arrived 15 minutes later. The host was charming, the room was comfortable, and the water in the shower was piping hot. All we could ask for!
