We had a wonderful stay at Memmo Baleeira! The staff were very helpful and pleasant! The facility was clean and well kept! The breakfast was hard to beat! The location was easy to find and close walking to many restaurants! An awesome view of the sunrise and a short drive to viewing the sunset!

Spacious unit with nice view of water. Caroline, the receptionist, was very helpful. Nice trails that lead down to the town center. Great restaurant suggested by Caroline called Carlos.

This was our second stay at a Martinhal property and it completely delivered! We traveled with our 2 year old son and from the start, the staff was welcoming and lovely with him. The property is huge and has so many great amenities for children and adults alike. Even though we visited in off-peak season and some of the restaurants/spaces were closed, we felt it met our needs. Our 2 bedroom villa gave us plenty of space and had everything we needed for our little one. Tub, high chair, crib, baby gates on the stairs, blackout curtains in the rooms, snacks and milk for our son (and a bottle of port for the adults), etc. Loved renting e-bikes and biking to the lighthouse as a short day excursion. Jerome at the bike station was amazing! 10/10 recommend this hotel.

Lovely little oasis. Room was clean and comfortable and exceeded expectations. Gardens were absolutely delightful with plenty of chairs and loungers. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking fisherman‘s Trail. There was also a large shared kitchen. However, we did not use this. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Sagres is at the very western tip of the Algarve and has few retired expats and no package holiday makers. Its a small Portugese community with lots of young people and independent travellers who mix well and many come to surf and walk. Its got some great bars along the top of Mareta beach and people come here to do their own thing, enjoy the wild and rugged Atlantic coastline and the towns like Carrapateira, Bordeira and Aljezur

A great laid back, small, surfing resort, suitable for families, couples and individual travellers. You can get there on busses from the airport at Faro, changing in Lagos, although hiring a car would be much quicker.
The beaches, bars and restaurants are all great but the sea is quite cold, so bring a wetsuit.
You can hire bodyboards, surfboards and wetsuits on the main surfing beach at Tonel.
You can also hire bikes from local shops and cycle out to the lighthouse at Cabo da Sao Vicente. If you want to go further, there is a track across the cliffs to a local village, Vila do Bispo, although it is hard work against the strong winds, up a steady incline. Allow 2 hours from Sagres but it's much quicker coming back.
The fort is worth a visit, with a circular clifftop walk and a museum.
There is also a path for clifftop walks in Sagres.

Sagres is an amazing place to visit if you are looking for stunning views of the Algarve and the ocean, I would recommend you to go with someone, doesn’t seem REEEEALLY for solo traveling, but it’s up to you. Maybe you find love there.
Also the city is so beautiful and looks like a beach village, which I love when I’m traveling. Run away from the big cities and stuff.
It’s also good for surfing if you are up to.

Sagres is a sanctuary in Nature and the importance that Portugal had in its history at a time when the known world was divided by the Portuguese, Spanish and English courts.
You breathe pure air and feel the ghosts of good people from the past and the hustle and bustle of crowds of sailors and discoverers who set out to sea with joy in their hearts and enough daring to face the unknown.
Sagres means sacred ... Holy ground
For those who have awakened their inner spirit and Love, they will feel beautiful emotions to the point of tears of joy in their eyes.
In short, there is the Algarve with excellent beaches and hotels.
And there are Sagres! A mecca of Biodiversity, Emotions, Love, Spirituality.
It also has the best sunset on Cape S. Vicente.
There is magic and peace in a perfect symbiosis between the sunset and the people who nestle on the cliff in silence until the sun crosses the horizon line into the sea.
A Must to experience in a life time!

Sagres is easy to get around, the people are relaxed and friendly, the beaches are beyond belief and the surfing culture is amazing. It adds vibrancy and has opened the way for a well-supported visitor's experience...including great coffee.
I visited in December, mild temps and rain doesn't stay around for long. Loved the simplicity of Sagres.
Apartment was just amazing and we felt like in home. We really loved original but practical interior design, lot of green interior flowers, pictures, comfy beds and sofa. Kitchen was fully equipped even with lunch boxes what we used for taking food on a beach. Our 2,5 year child spend lot of time a cute kids kitchen with lots of toy cutlery. We used to chill in a sleeping net which was also nice surprise in the apartment. This was the best place we ever had during our travelling and vacations.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting.

Sagres is a stunning chilled out town. Some of the best food we have ever had. we would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
The location in Sagres was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There is a well equipped outside, shared kitchen which is a great perk. The woman at check-in was awesome. She spent a lot of time pointing out locations on a map for us to birdwatch. These tips were instrumental in us having such an amazing birdwatching trip! She also lent me a charger for my cell phone because mine was malfunctioning and she provided a fan upon request.
he staff was incredibly welcoming, guiding me through all the facilities and offering great recommendations for local dining and beaches. The room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The hotel's grounds were beautifully maintained, providing a serene atmosphere for relaxation. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Sagres Time Apartamentos to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.
Casa Azulejo was the best lodging we booked during a two week hike in southern Portugal. The hotel is in a great location in Sagres, just a few steps from numerous restaurants, shops, supermarket, and beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room exceeded our expectations. It was large, very modern, and charming with upscale furnishings. The bathroom was awesome. Entire property was spotlessly clean.
It's a really nice and comfortable place to stay at :) I already regret that I left and want to go back :D the guests and the hosts are all really kind... it's a very calm and quiet place but still very easy to get in contact with other travellers :) I think for me it's the best hostel in Portugal so far! But don't come here if you want to party :D come to relax and enjoy the very calm atmosphere :)
Spacious room with great view and sound of the ocean , very clean , although a family resort my partner and I travelled without kids but we found the resort very quiet with no loud kids. Beautiful beach and no motor jet sky allowed or motor boat close to shore a plus indeed just simple paddle board . Very happy with our staying .
Great place for a week away near the lovely beaches of Sagres and easy walking to restaurants and shops.
Host was very welcoming and accommodating, offering us a heater as the weather was rather cool whilst we we there.
Lots of hot running water to ensure good washing up and hot shower.
From the clean room, to the warm welcome, Carla provided everything for a perfect stay in Sagres. A village not only rich in wonderful beaches and cliffs but also embedded in the local history of the region and the bigger history as well, ask Carla she would be glad to tell you about it!
Beautiful place and best hosts ever ! Feels like paradise, a lot of commodities, based close from the beach and many restaurants.
We received all we needed and even more...
Highly recommend if you want to stay in Sagres, you will fall in love instantly 💛✨
Amazing location, spacious clean and apartment. I lived in Sagres 10 years ago and this was a beautiful way to revisit a place I love next to my favorite beach. I loved the white walls, the decor as well as the layout.
The apartment is very charming and is well taken care of! It is also baby friendly! Nicola & Patri were extremely kind and welcoming. We highly recommend this place for a true Sagres experience.
Nice complex with covered parking, ample apartments and quite enjoyable garden/pool. The staff is very nice and helpful. Conveniently located to enjoy Sagres beaches or for surfers.
Very nice and comfortable hotel. We had a room with a splendid sea view overlooking the Atlantic Sea. 5 min walk to the beach and morning bath.
Great breakfast included.
