Rooms were very spacious and clean, lots of hanging and shelf space. Bathrooms were excellent with both separate bath and shower and toiletries. Food was exceptional and the open fires and log burners created a really cosy atmosphere. Residents lounge was bright and spacious

What a spectacular place. Angela was a wonderful host. When we arrived, she welcomed us with tea, homemade cookies and a roaring fire in the sitting room. The gardens are gorgeous. Highly recommend!

We loved everything at Aghadowey. We were on a short visit to attend the Great Britain and Ireland Tug of War competition at the University. We wished we could have stayed much longer, but we will be going back.
The Pub just down the road was a great place to eat without being expensive.
