Super lovely hosts, easy to check in and very accommodating given I arrived at 10:30pm. Quiet room and milk in fridge with coffee facilities which was great. Free parking just in the driveway. Would 100% stay again.
The bathroom was clean and had shower gel, etc which was appreciated.
As a solo female traveller, I'd appreciate a bolt lock on the inside of my room to feel safer, not just the twisty door knob lock.

Breakfast overpriced and warmed up. Staff were not helpful. Stating we had not booked. When I had booked on their website. After breakfast a member of staff made us give our card details!!!! When we had provided details when booking. Not impressed. I cancelled the next day’s breakfast. However when going to pay they had not cancelled the second breakfast but charged us. The receptionist removed this from the bill.
Location was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel and grounds exceptional. Also gym very good. The food overpriced.

This hotel was very clean, well appointed, efficiently run and as customers, we received a warm welcome and an excellent service. The welcome drinks were such a special touch and the breakfast was delicious. The location is fantastic and I would confidently recommend this hotel.

Ascot is quiet on non horse racing days Shops are few Nearby Windsor is a great place to shop and socialise and visit Good bus service (no 1) to Windsor takes 40 mins or so and leaves from opposite the main entrance to the race course at the hospital entrance

I went there for family reasons and Ascot is a small town...
I went there for family reasons and Ascot is a small town whose main feature is the horse race track which leaves me cold! Its expensive to get to Ascot from the airport (60 GBP by taxi) or around half that by Underground & surface Train but can be fun! For the kid in you there's LegoLand close by and for the history buffs there's Windsor which is beautiful and the castle is magnificent and definitely worth a visit. The shopping isn't too bad either.

We stayed for one night as a birthday treat at the Macdonald Berystede and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We had dinner in the restaurant and although a reduced menu the choice was fabulous and cooked to perfection. The Breakfast buffet was all cooked well and hot, the eggs were of a great standard. The spa facilities were great and not too crowded, I had a great swim and the hydro pool was a great experience with the really warm water and the rain pouring what a treat.SueUnited Kingdom

I arrived at 10am for a day in an Ascot hospitality box. my room was ready on arrival. There was just one lady on site, cleaning and checking in. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit the whole hotel is in need of some TLC. After a day racing and drinking, a short walk to the hotel was the easy option as getting a cab would have not been easy, Free parking on site.BobUnited Kingdom

This ‘lift’ even included a quick tour of the local shops and pubs, and the best suggested walking route to return to The Haven later. We loved the accommodation. It has been very carefully thought out and provided us with everything that may be needed.
