Lovely waterside views of the Humber.
Don't forget to visit the arts centre The Ropewalk.

My family are from here and lots still live here so obviously its familiar to me. Some great walks and viewing for the Humber Bridge nice little pubs for food or just a drink. I called in the wheatsheaf for a coffee with my dog before walking to were I was staying very friendly. Ive also had a lovely vegetarian meal at the sloop and had my dog with me. Its nice at the cafe down on the waters edge. Only thing is if you're alone with your dog you carnt go in to order food

We (my partner and I), really enjoyed our stay in Barton-upon-Humber. It's a beautiful part of the world and also very flat - so walking and exploring the area isn't too strenuous. Barton is also quite full of places to go, with an abundance of pubs offering delicious food and local ales.

Very interesting place - quiet now but would have bustled with industry in its heyday. St Peter's Church, the Ropery and Tile Works all worth visiting. Crossing the Humber Bridge at sunset is unforgettable.

Good location in centre of Barton with a Co-op next door which was handy. Free parking on street/market place in front of hotel easily found.
Easy self check-in with keypad & code. Manager was very responsive & helpful when we said we were going to be late checking in (00.30am) as attending a wedding.
Room modern, very clean & comfortable, with spacious bathroom & excellent shower.
Good tea & coffee tray. The flapjack was delicious!
The hotel was perfect for the purpose of my trip. Super friendly, accommodating staff and made to feel like a local from the off. Rooms are very clean and have been done up to a high standard. The restaurant and pub attached are great facilities and would love to visit again at some point. Overall, the Nelthorpe has a great atmosphere about the place. Big thanks to all the staff!
The Humber Bridge Hotel has great views on both sides. The bridge on one side and beautiful wetlands on the other. All the staff where the most friendly and helpful we have ever encountered. The whole place was immaculately clean. Our room was spacious and well appointed, good quality bedding and towels. Amazing value for both our stay and bar and meals . Highly recommend.
The room was comfortable and very clean; more home than guest house. Accessibility was excellent. Breakfast was as good as 5 star hotel. Overall I couldn't have picked a better overnight place. The owner, Pam was available but never intrusive. This quiet place is a hidden gem and I would recommend it without reservation.
The location was convenient for everything we needed In Barton upon Humber. For the rest of the time there was a free car parking with plenty of spaces available outside of pub opening hours. The bed was big and very comfortable.
The Hotel was in a perfect location for the purpose of our trip. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options.
