Quaint full of character and charm. Local shops , places to eat and bars within walking distance. Travelled in February - very wet but still obviously beautiful . Had a lovely family feel , clean and no graffiti anywhere to be seen. Locals so friend.y and helpful. Like stepping back in time. We loved it!!!

Bewdley is lovely town on the River Severn.
Bewdley is lovely town on the River Severn. Full of Georgian buildings and the stone bridge over the river, it is a great place to visit and stay. Lots of pubs including the Bewdley Brewery Tap on Lax Lane and various places to eat out, all within the compact town centre. There are lots of walking opportunities in the area, including alongside the River Severn to Arley.

Bewdley were having flood defence work in the town so a one-way traffic system was in operation, this worked brilliant for us as the guest house was only a 5 minute walk from the town centre! There were some car parking around the guest house as well, some free, most you paid for and it was reasonable!
We went for the Christmas lights switch on, so there were Christmas market stalls there as well, so it was a Bostin night had by all...a Bostin night, and bostin accommodation. The views of the town are spectacular, but you need to walk around to find the Bostin ones!!

Bewdley is located at a crossing point on the River Severn and has a varied collection of eating and drinking establishments, all within easy walking distance.
I like the Bewdley Brewery Tap on Lax Lane with its selection of local brewed beers, produced on the premises. Bewdley Museum is an interesting visit with a nice relaxing courtyard cafe with snacks, cakes and drinks available.
There are riverside walks to follow along the River Severn or take a ride on the excellent, volunteer-run Severn Valley Railway up to Bridgnorth and Kidderminster.

I stayed for one night to go to a Halloween party at the Safari Park. Had a meal and a few drinks in the town centre beforehand. A good selection of bars and a few restaurants. The area along the river by the bridge looked quaint. We ate and drank at the The George Hotel, a Wetherspoon's, so it was as cheap as chips.
The location was really handy for Bewdley very quiet and private road, the bungalow was really spacious with a very private pet friendly garden it was so clean and and everything was done to a very high spec and every need catered for really felt like home from hope very good value for money.
The hosts were very friendly and with the doggy treats and the wine and cake for us it was the little extras that made this a lovely stay we will definitely be back for longer next time.
And would 100% recommend.
The room was warm and right temperature on arrival. Staff helpful polite and welcoming. Our room was over looking the river very nice. Added bonus of fresh milk plus bottled water still and sparkling in a fridge ( very quiet). The best bed ever even beat a premier inn bed.We didn't eat there on this occasion but have eaten here in previous visits to bewdley . Will definitely be using mug house for future stays .
The breakfast was wonderful. Do have the fresh fruit salad every morning as it is top quality seasonal fruit. The bright colourful bowl is a great start to the day. Well stocked bathroom amenities. Spacious room. Gorgeous views. Friendly and helpful owners. Lovely walk into the main centre of Bewdley from the peace and quiet of the hotel and its gardens.
Absolutely stunning little cottage right in the heart of Bewdley in a quiet little courtyard with a private parking space. Renovated to a high standard, comfortable and cosy with modern appliances, kitchen utensils and everything you need to cook with. Immaculate clean and well maintained. Hosts were lovely and accommodating.
This was a great location near the center of Bewdley. The apartment was spacious for 3 of us. The bathroom and kitchenette were nice and the apartment had the best selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates of any place ive stayed at. The directions and check in access were easy to follow.
We love the location as very helpful for visiting family especially where we can park at the hotel all weekend and walk to visit family 10mins up the road. Easy option for dining if we need to. Always clean and we'll equipped rooms. (This is our 2nd stay here and we plan to return again)
Beautiful spacious apartment in perfect location with lovely breakfast in Cafe beneath. Everything you could ask for with superb fittings and furnishings. Made for a truly memorable family vacation (Grandparents, Son, Daughter in law and infant Granddaughter). Don't hesitate!
The apartment is a very nice size, clean, smelled nice, very well equipped, walkable to town centre, and the big attraction for us is that it had its own secure and free parking space, we would definitely stay there again
Location and the parking arrangements while we stayed at the property. We were there as a group of older gentlemen visiting the SVR for the weekend and the property is located well for Bewdley Station.
Easy to find. Lovely views over the golf course from the dining area. Bit difficult to find staff when you needed them though I appreciate that it was at a very quiet time for the hotel.
Great location overlooking the River Severn and close to Bewdley centre. Spacious and well furnished apartment. Breakfast served by the cafe below was lovely. Hosts and staff friendly.
The hotel is conveniently located for Bewdley and Ludlow offering very comfortable and interestingly decorated rooms. Breakfast was cooked to order and an ideal start to the day.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean and well kept property close to the river and Bewdley centre with easy access to local sightseeing areas and luxurious bedrooms.
Clean and spacious. Good shower and quality equipment (kettle, cups etc) ideal for using the room as a bedroom. interesting design within the mansard form of roof.
Enormous room in enormous house in enormous grounds!
