Convenient location for anyone coming by car or taxi. Rooms are well sized and decently equipped for this price level. Beds are comfortable, and it's nice to have the option for a bath. Area is quiet (although we stayed midweek) so ideal to get a decent night's sleep.
Restaurant/bar/reception across the carpark is comfortable and the food (both dinner and breakfast) is delicious. The breakfast included in the price is a continental one, so if you want a cooked breakfast it's better to pay for it on the day.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was decent and good value. room very tidy and spacious. bed very comfy and ample pillows, considering its near a motorway its not to loud, yes you can hear the motorway but its not loud enough to disturb you.

Good for weekend break close to town Glasgow fort parkhead forge and Cumbernauld shopping centre and retail park. Enjoyed our stay been there couple times hope to go bk soon. Staff very friendly . Food is banging aswell.

Coatbridge is a cute little town east of Glasgow that has everything you could need. It's easy to get to both Glasgow and Edinburgh, or anywhere else you need to go. There's a big retail park for groceries & shopping, a nice little town square, and everyone I met here was very friendly! It's very easy to get around here. There are a few major roundabouts that become easy to remember once you've passed through a few times. Parking is a little sparse sometimes, but that's to be expected right in town. I was running a workshop on orchards in Hope Church using the nearby Coatbridge Community Orchard. Cameron from the church was really helpful and bent over backwards to find the resources we needed. I would imagine the church is very friendly to newcomers. The community orchard over in West End park used to be a bowling green (now they only have 1!) and is made up of about 100 apples, 8 pears, 8 plums and 8 cherries. The young orchard is open access and pleasant to stroll through. There are some raised beds, one of which has an interesting oat experiment going on. There are about 5 veteran cherry trees just outside the orchard. I noticed there were a couple of children's play areas in the park and it had a lovely vibe.
