The view from the room was beautiful, with a corner window as a bonus.
The location was perfect. A five minute walk to the town jail and 10 minute walk to Stirling Castle.
The old building was very interesting.

Dunblane appears to be a friendly city. With a beautiful cathedral , numerous small craft and curio shops. Part of the high street was disappointing, which needed tidying up . Dunblane is a small town, very centrally located, close to Stirling and the Lochs and Trossachs. It is almost equidistant to Edinburgh and Glasgow ( approx 1 hour to each city) so everything we wanted to see/visit was not too far away. There is also a regular bus network linking Dunblane to other interesting places in the area. It has good restaurants, we highly recommend The Riverside - Pub, Cafe, Kitchen.ColinNetherlands - 10Scored 10

A great hotel to stay in, The breakfast and dinner was great, This is our second stay here and would stay here again. The pool was closed for maintenance when we stayed which was a shame as we would have used this facility. The staff make you very welcome from the moment you arrive. Dunblane is a beautiful small city with a lovely cathedral and some interesting shops. (Another) Tilly’s Tearoom was ideal for breakfast and Riverside was great for our evening meal. The cathedral contains a thought provoking memorial to the massacre in 1996. The room was much smaller than advertised and it was exceptional hot during my stay so much so I found it difficult to sleep as the small fan that was provide did little especially when the window wouldn't stay open as the hinges were broken.
