Being only a few miles from Ashford and a 40 minute drive to...
Being only a few miles from Ashford and a 40 minute drive to Rye, it is ideally located for exploring Kent & East Sussex. The accommodation was roomy, spotlessly clean with a large very comfy bed. Our room had a large bath and shower. Lovely Food is available throughout the day and evening. Plenty of car parking space. If you like golf, this place would be hard to beat. There’s even a local aerodrome nearby if you want a cup of coffee watching the comings and goings

Very short stay as we were off to the Big Cat Sanctuary...
Very short stay as we were off to the Big Cat Sanctuary which is near by, Clearly with Covid issues we didnt get to see a lot of the place, but intial impressions its quite a nice village, its not very big . some shops and eateries, which we did use and purchased some items. The Church was open to visitors again with restrictions, but it was nice and welcoming. Yes overall we did enjoy our short stay. we will visit again.

Quaint Kent village that is unspoilt, which is a rare thing...
Quaint Kent village that is unspoilt, which is a rare thing these days. Amenities are good and local. Walked from Big 🐱 Sanctuary to Headcorn train station. Took 30 mins. but sadly quite dangerous as neither side of road had a footpath, until within 200 metres from station. Lovely, picturesque walk though.

The bed was large and comfortable. Rooms in the lodge are located in further away buildings which was not so convenient. The decor and ambiance is rather purposeful, since it is a golf hotel. Breakfast was plenty and tasty.

Only a few miles from Headcorn but felt we were in the middle of the countryside. Comfortable and well proportioned room and good facilities like a kettle and hairdryer for my wife. We didn't use it but the garden was just outside our room, could imagine sitting in the sun and sipping a cold glass of wine.
