All food, the breakfasts and the dinner we had were cooked to perfection. The dinner was very good value. That the hotel serves lunches to seniors was obviously a very welcome gesture to locals. The bar was filled on both days of our stay. The room we stayed in was large and had a tv over the bath. Dog friendly in an area of Scotland with numerous walks right from the door.

The location was perfect, especially if you have a dog, ane the hotel is pet friendly so ideal if can't be parted from your furry friend. The food was amazing, absolutely delicious and it does take out if just fancy a quiet night in your room. It's a very friendly relaxing hotel and the staff can't do enough for you . And the price for food and beverages won't spoil your stay. Very reasonable.

The food was very nice and the main lounge was very cosy with a nice fire and decor. The breakfast was lovely and had all you could want. For our purposes the hotel was ideally situated. The bed was very comfortable. The rate for the room was very fair. Couple of niggles with the room which should be easy to fix.

It is perfectly situated at the foot of the Campsie Hills with easy access to visit many places in the Highlands, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Very helpful staff and good food to start the day.
