I do not beleave the reveiws for the thomas arms as on booking . com are true. because i had stayed at this hotel before be it 10 years or so ago when it was a very good standard. If as i have now done now and looked a Ttip adviser i would never have booked this hotel. There reveiws reflected exactly my experience. I rate it as the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Never again. They don`t even return calls when messages left on answerphone.

My home town and it makes me sad to see the town centre each time I visit. excellent elements to the place but a car is needed. Great location to stay if your itinerary includes places in the region.

It’s a great place to stay as a base as the coastline is lovely, Llanelli centre isn’t much to write home about tbh, but there’s all the shops you would need, but as we played golf in the area it was just what we needed.

It's tricky because I live here....I love it, amazing beaches and facilities nearby, but it is a big town and there are positives and negatives as anywhere. Public transport is poor and only a few taxi companies work at night, so plan your trips well. There is a real choice of places to eat and drink and entertainment can be found for everyone most weekends. Gateway holiday park always have something going on for all the family and there are many great pubs/cafes/restaurants in town and in the surrounding villages.

Was once our family home but the lack of good employers and businesses have resulted in the town running down and forcing people with hopes of a future away. the Gower peninsula however is still a stunning beauty spot.
I get back to the area when I can as we still have family in the area and many childhood memories still.

We thought there should have been some hooks to hang large coats on Extra coat hangers would be useful As we were in the disabled room an extra chair would be a good idea As it was a disabled room a lower shelf would be handy
room very clean and tidy. staff exceptional. very friendly and helpful at all times. ample off road parking
the breakfast was excellent and great value. good central location for sightseeing. ample parking off road behind the property. 5 minutes walk from llanelli town and rail station with 15 minutes ride to swansea town center and great access to south west wales to the west via a very scenic coastal train ride.
Nice hotel, staff pleasant.
Food was of good quality. However dirty cutlery.
We were only able to watch freeview sport in the bar.
Room a little tired, but clean.
Whilst we were having breakfast a cleaner was hoovering and mopping all around us.
And whilst we were eating the cleaner seemed to develop a coughing fit which was audible all the the hotel. Not the most pleasant experience prob will not return.
Perfect location close to the beach and coastal walks. Superb attention to detail with facilities and little welcome treats on arrival. Mel is an amazing host.
The shower and bath were amazing, especially after the Llanelli 10k/Half Marathon race.
There were several breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and the ever changing tide was simply calming for the soul.
Room lovely and spacious, room service was swift, food was lovely in restaurant, breakfast buffet was fantastic, brilliant atmosphere, great service (I didnt catch her name but a blonde polish lady serving in the restaurant was absolutely a credit to the hotel and deserves a pay rise!) Overall a really lovely stay.
The location was good for me as I wanted to be quite central and close to the beach. The beach was less than 10 minutes away by car and the town centre was about 15 minutes on foot. There is also good parking which is situated behind the hotel. The staff were helpful when asking for directions.
Maurius the chef could not have been more helpful or obliging. His food was wonderful and he really went out of his way to look after me and make me feel so welcome. The hotel is spotless and very comfortable. The location is very quiet and peaceful.
Location was beautiful. Right on the beach. Cafe / pub / restaurant 100m away.
Lake nearby with lots of birds.
Town centre within walking distance if you are reasonably fit . Very quiet. Parking right outside. Views spectacular.
Plenty of space in the room to move around.
The bed was very comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee. Bathroom facilities were good with a good sized bath and shower over. Probably the best hair dryer I ever used in a hotel.
Good location for exploring South Wales. Quiet, good local petrol station and small supermarket. Excellent food, comfortable bar/lounge and cosy roomy bedroom.
Couple of small problems with the room were sorted very quickly.
Staff were personable and welcoming. The room was dated but served it's purpose. Its a central location for llanelli. We had a big family lunch, food was enjoyed by all. We will definitely stay here again.
Rooms were great hotel facilities all good - dinner was very good - Breakfast one staff member over run didn't get a hot cup of coffee until 3rd time of asking - bar area comfortable
Pleasant room, clean, good view. The staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional! Good value for money, would definitely stay at the Stradey Park Hotel again.
A gem of a hotel, perfectly placed for travelling around South Wales.
Comfortable rooms, friendly owner, beautiful countryside and retail/restaurants close by.
Beautiful location, with views of the sea. A very cosy, comfortable flat, not far from Llanelli town centre. All the furniture exceptional. Excellent. Thanks.
