The location was great, easy to get around town from there. Breakfast was good and the staff were very accommodating. Rooms were good sized and very clean. Had a great time.
The hotel was lovely. We were staying for a wedding nearby at Boswell Coach House, and read some great reviews on here about the hotel so decided to give it a go. Staff were so helpful, the room was very clean, and the restaurant and bar were lovely. Food was great too.
Something I really liked was the Room Numbers being associated with Robert Burns (we stayed in room 10 which was Tam O' Shanter, others were things like Souter Johnny, Jean Armour etc).
Hoping for another reason to come back here again!
we stayed 2 nights in this hotel, we chose it because of its location to visit Dumfries House, but we discovered other places very beautiful, clean hotel our room spacious, we also had dinner one evening, good restaurant, excellent breakfast friendly staff always available highly recommended, the parking is very practical behind the structure and public, feeling of a familiar and safe place.
All the little extras in your room like the wee chocolate nx to your bed, the slippers and the make up cloth in the shower room, the hotel is beautiful and every time we stay we love it, the food is delicious and the breakfast is the same, nothing is too much for them to do and cannot wait until I stay again.
A lovely classic country hotel . Huge room . Bathroom has bathtub shower combination. On a busy town road but very quiet. Has a nice bar and restaurant. Staff excellent and accommodating.
