Whilst mexborough itself isn't the first place that springs...
Whilst mexborough itself isn't the first place that springs to mind for a break away it's so handy for lots of great sights and in particular the transpennine trail. It's a great central base for all kinds if entertainment from cinema to country walks

The apartment was well equipped and towels, bed linen, toiletries were all provided. Although we had brought our own it was also nice to see that tea and coffee were provided and the fridge was an excellent size
