Dinner amazing, I order the fish and chip thinking it would be nice and simple but it was extravaganza!!!!! I was offered a mini tasting box which was amazing, even the twist on homemade breads and butter was delicious

We were not advised breakfast was not included so was additional £29. It too was basic buffet that ran out and was luke warm. Not impressed! No listed help in the bedroom as there usually is in a Hotel room. The window in the bedroom would not stay open it was a sash window that slid back down as-soon as you opened it. Lighting by the dressing table was not adequate. Seating and coffee table was not what you would expect in a bedroom it was garden furniture and there was only one chair to sit on!!

The room was very comfortable and had a nice view. We ate breakfast in the main restaurant and it was really good. The location is so good for everything that we needed. I would have preferred the room be cleaned more often, with jet-lag and sleeping a little later the room was not touched for most of our stay.

I was very disappointed as in no way is Orsett Hall a 4 star hotel. It is in need of a major refurbishment, the decor is old fashioned and tatty. The grounds are lovely but not kept very clean. We stayed there for a wedding in a nearby venue and had chosen Orsett Hall because it appeared to be lovely and we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I am afraid I am not able to recommend it. The food was ok and some of the staff were lovely but were obviously very inexperienced and had had little training.AmandaUnited Kingdom
