Close to the Cardiff airport, with helpful staff. The breakfast bag for early morning departures is a gem of a good deal - hearty breakfast bap, fruit, juice, yogurt, muffin, croissant and granola bar. If not using a private car, then taxi fare is 8 British pounds, flat fee. Walking is possible, but without a pathway, one must be careful. There is sufficient parking, and the restaurant does have a variety of dinner options, and offers breakfast.
As others have noted, the mattress is not foam, but has springs, which some may no longer be used to. A hair dryer may be requested from the front desk. The price is a good value.
This large Victorian building has character. 40 minutes from Cardiff city center and 20 minutes from Cardiff International Airport, and less than 2 miles from the beach.

I needed a hotel but as it was a six nations weekend this was one of the few with vacancies. Owner was so lovely and entertaining

what I mostly liked was that the hotel was nice and clean, continental breakfast was available, not much of vegetarian. Its a nice hotel for familys with children, the beds diffently need replacing as they were making alot of noise. But other than that its a good hotel,would recommend 👌
