Seahouses is a small village on the Northumbria coast.
Seahouses is a small village on the Northumbria coast. About 15 minutes from the A1. Island boat trips can be purchased and good coastal walks are available. There are some facilities aimed at children, which were all closed in November when I visited, so this is really a place for adults to relax. A National Trust shop is open each day. There is a caravan park unobtrusively located.

Seahouses is a great place to visit with wonderful walks and great restaurants. There are stunning views and a wonderful, working, fishing harbour.
It is an iconic Northumbrian location with a magnificent history and plenty of things to do, even on a rainy Summers day.
It has a number of small, quirky shops and plenty of food outlets to suit every taste.

Little Haven was just that!
Little Haven was just that! A really cosy accommodation which was welcoming the moment we walked through the door. A great location to explore the Northumbrian coast. Local amenities were excellent. A wonderful, traditional fisherman's pub and an excellent Italian restaurant were the highlights, but there were several other options, too. Highly recommended!

We were in Seahouses for just one night, so my visitor from the South could do some sight-seeing and we could have a long-overdue catch up. The town isn't huge, but there are plenty of places to visit locally and there are also plenty of pubs and restaurants.

Great base for seeing surrounding areas & buses available too. Walking distance to Bamburgh & Beadnell along the beaches. Plenty of takeaways, places to eat and drink. Boat trip to Farne islands good. The Landing at Beadnell and the Black Swan at Seahouses were lovely for meals. Co-op good size for buying essentials.
The apartment was in an excellent location on the Main Street in Seahouses, parking was close and free with the permit provided. The apartment was very comfortable and equipped with everything you would need for self catering. We particularly liked the thoughtful geStures provided, like fresh milk, cereals and jam pancakes. Everything was catered for and it made our stay very restful and enjoyable. We thought that the apartment was very good value when compared to nearby hotels, would certainly visit again.
Loved staying here. Friendly welcome. The location was superb with lovely views. Our rooms (bedroom & lounge) were clean and thoughtfully decorated. Having the lounge was definitely a plus and having only booked one night at Chandlers on our road trip, we wish we’d had time for more. We ate breakfast in the delightful breakfast room next door and the food was very good.
We were next door to the Olde Ship Inn where we were treated to an excellent Sunday lunch followed by a walk along the beach.
We would highly recommend chandeliers BnB in seahouses .the room was immaculate the four poster bed was so impressive & comfortable everything you needed in the ect tea coffee milk sugar water , ironing board iron hairdryer toiletries on the bath room , breakfast was fab good selection the breakfast room great dead cosy . David&Judith the owners were fab nothings to much for them if you needed anything in your room . Even the dad was great telling us about seahouses & about the area & places to see.
Dunelm House is in a great location, a short walk to pubs and restaurants and the harbour.
Suzanne couldn't do enough for us, was very welcoming and even made us a booking for our evening meal at The Black Swan.
The breakfasts were great as well and set us up for the day. The room was very nicely fitted out and furnished. Definitely recommend and will be coming back
A very comfortable cottage with plenty of room and well-equipped. It has a lovely garden and table and chairs outside. We found it very clean and well-decorated. Very easy to walk down into Seahouses village (about 10 mins) which has lovely pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Ship Inn was great as were the fish and chip restaurants. We hope to be back soon!
Seahouses is a particularly nice place, even better than we expected. With innumerable excellent pubs and restaurants. This accomodation has excellent parking facilities right outside the door and is absolutely in the centre of town within easy reach of everything including some good restaurants and even a bus stop right outside. Highly recommended.
A great little apartment in the town centre with all the comforts of home . A good self catering option after many days of travelling and eating out . Parking on site and a short walk to cafes supermarkets pubs and the beach . A good base as it is close to villages of interest in the area .
Outstanding location overlooking the harbour at Seahouses, the village is only seconds away with all of the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.
We spent our time walking to Bamburgh Castle along the beach and exploring all that the area had to offer.
A perfect weekend retreat.
Very comfortable cottage, lovely outside area for sitting out. High standard of cleanliness
Excellent location for everything in Seahouses but away from the main part of the street so quiet
Owner was very helpful when I contacted him about arrival and departure times
It’s understated but comfortable esthetic. The staff. The location. The little restaurant is good. The breakfast is nice. The sitting area / lounge is lovely and the proximity to stellar walking and beach and tide pools and sunrises is tip top.
The location is excellent. It was the little things and touches that the owners make so special. They also go the extra mile when asked about places to visit and eat around the surrounding areas.
Lovely cosy and clean cottage. Wood burning stove was a lovely addition. Bathroom was very warm and spacious and lots of hot water. Short drive to great beaches and to village shop. Dog friendly.
The property was in Seahouses about 15 mins walk to the centre. It was a good base to see Alnwick and Bamburgh castles.
Clean and comfortable with well cooked breakfast.
