Good facilities for all travellers.
But sooooo noisy!
Good facilities for all travellers.
But sooooo noisy! Loud music together with noisy crowds make for difficult 'calm down time' from travelling. You can do something about the loud music, but obviously not about the crowds!!

Stensham Services are great we have been stopping there for decades. But it's the last time we stay at the Days Inn. In the past we have stopped at the Premier Inn at Ross on Wye and will go back to that.
Not normally a hotel I would book but served my needs perfectly as a quick stopover during a long trip North. No bar or food on the premises as this is provided next door in the Strensham Services…McDs was my choice for evening meal. Being on the motorway there is no alcohol on sale anywhere…sensible but if you do like a nightcap…bring that with you :-) The room was clean and adequate but had seen many many guests over the years.
Room was comfortable and very clean, I was impressed with the attention to sanitization of items, very reassuring guests that might be concerned about covid. Sophie was a superb receptionist, extremely helpful and pleasant. Anna was also very nice and helpful, they are both great advertisements for your hotel
The hotel was a fraction of the price in comparison to others, so I was very sceptical. The rooms aren’t modern, but personally that doesn’t bother me. I’d say for me personally, the lady on reception made my visit better. She was so friendly and happy. And extremely helpful. Staff like her require recognition.
After a mess up with our booking ( not the hotels fault), the lady at the reception had to swap rooms about just to accommodate us and our 2 dogs. She did this without any fuss or complaint. She went out her way and dealt with the situation with such a positive attitude. Keep up the good work!
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had our 86 year old father with us & the staff were very kind about us using their fridge. We will definitely use this hotel & location again when exploring the areas near by.
Room 19 had a very noisy bathroom fan! Worked up by dogs staying in hotel!! Room not been serviced so had to ask for toilet roll, tea and milk! Room very hot uncomfortable night sleep. Would not stay again
Able to purchase vouchers to use at the food court at the services. Really good system. Whilst the hotel was a bit tired, it was spotless and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful.
Location at a service station so was easy we just wanted something very basic to just stay one night on our way to Wales as we had booked a expensive hotel in Rhyl for five nights!!
