Tiverton is a lovely market town with plenty of branded shops as well as local businesses.
There is a cinema offering the latest films, a museum, plenty of parking.
Lots of cafes offering home baked goodies, local bakeries with an array of delectable produce....
People were very friendly and welcoming.
Close to the motorway enabling travel to nearby towns and a great rail connection at Tiverton Parkway.

We live just over the Devon border in Somerset and Tiverton is a good location to shop if you want to go to different supermarkets or the indoor market for local produce. We went for an event, held in the pannier market, which was full of stalls and good food and drinks vendors. It is easy to get around Tiverton and people are friendly and helpful. Fantastic Tiverton Museum and trips along the Grand Western Canal Country Park.

Nice spacious room especially as we had two dog sleeping crates. Very pet friendly. Breakfast hot food was disappointing often not warm enough and or dried out from being under lamps too long. Restaurant menu was a bit limited which meant we ate away from the hotel most days

It’s definitely the best home-hotel I’ve ever had during my traveling in the UK. The room is big and cozy and with all facilities I need. It’s close to the station too. I had to check out early so the hotel prepared me a big pack of breakfast.(I’m sorry I don’t know the gentleman’s name.) I really appreciate that…. Anyway, everything was perfect!!! It’s such a shame I just stayed there for one night,i hope I could go back Tiverton again:)
Lovely castle/ stately home to stay in. An absolute joy to have found. Quirkier and much more interesting than any chain hotel. And who doesn't want to tell their friends they've stayed in a castle.
Nice comfy room. Plenty of space outdoors, do seek out the trampoline if you are staying with kids.
Not all rooms are in the actual castle but the lodges and cottages, that we stayed in, are just as interesting.
This was a great find conveniently located close to the town center. The manager was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The facilities were VERY clean and the rooms were spacious. Manager went above and beyond to sort us out some breakfast as we had set off very early in the morning before the cooked breakfast was served. I would definitely use again when visiting Tiverton.
The guest house is in an ideal location for the centre of Tiverton and with lovely riverside views.
Parking was free at the weekend. The bed was comfortable, there was tea, coffee & water in the room. It had everything you need and a superb breakfast. Richard & Ling were so friendly and remembered everyone’s names, I couldn’t fault anything.
Having stayed here some years ago, the improvements made to the rooms and the overall impression of the hotel is that it remains a traditional place to stay, but one which is of 21st century quality. Particularly outstanding are the staff who showed genuine interest and helpfulness. Pleased we chose to stay there and will do so again.
The property looks even better in person than in pictures. We visited late September and the surrounding area was beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and warm. The hosts were amazing, they were helpful, welcoming and the welcome gift was delicious! The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
Everything was just perfect for us. Parked opposite the property. Allowed to check in a bit early, well-equipped and spotless bedroom and bathroom, quiet at night (even though central). Amazing selection of teas for breakfast! Friendly host. We’ve stayed elsewhere in Tiverton and this was better value.
My second stay at Brambles was every bit as good as the first. Alison was very welcoming and every detail was thought of to make my room and stay comfortable. The full English breakfast was a treat. A peaceful location with lovely countryside views just a short distance from Tiverton.
Tim and Kim were brilliant hosts and could not have done more to make our stay so great. Everywhere was clean, well decorated and finished and the breakfasts were amazing. Nothing was too much bother. Even recommended a great Italian restaurant in Tiverton.
Staff were all friendly, professional & helpful. Breakfast OK but not brilliant. Waitress kindly allowed a free espresso from the bar, tho. Hotel was perfect for what we wanted - reasonable price & comfortable stopover on long journey.
Breakfast was plentiful and good. The location was excellent. Being able to wander through the castle buildings reading the history was fantastic. Close to the pleasant town of Tiverton, yet still in the quiet countryside.
Despite a very late arrival (at 1.30am, due to a flight cancellation), the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, going above and beyond our expectations. We definitely recommend this hotel!
Very friendly hosts. Allowed us to park our motornike securely at back of hotel. Slept well. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was fine. V central location for visiting Tiverton. V reasonable price.
Excellent room. Lovely host. Very clean. Very quiet.. I travel alot for work and this B+B is one of the nicest around...will definitely stay again if in the area...thanks..
Great place. Easy to park, very good location, comfortable bed, amazing shower and really kind staff! Can't recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely come back!
