Pärnu is old bathing centre, with wonderful historical buildings, and villas dating back from Jugend and Art Noveau periods. Our stay in Pärnu was in early August, yet the sea water temparatures were seasonally relatively low. There were few swimmers at the main beach, as the weather was windy with occasional showers of rain. But the landscape and seascape were marvellous and there is plenty to do also in the old town. The restaurant scene has much improved in the past years and there is reasonable variety available for both budget travellers and more high-end venues. Everything is reasonable near-by and walking or cycling around is practical.

A wonderful city with clean streets and a beautiful beach!
I didn't stay long, as it was just a place for me to stay in the hotel and have lunch, but I will never cease to be amazed, at how nice Parnu is every time I visit this place.
We had food at 'Vehverments Bar & Tostadas' and I was very impressed by how delicious and affordable it was. Yellow hummus is a must-try!

Pärnu is lovely with lots of trees and green areas as well as old buildings on the seaside of the bridge. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Summer time, and plenty of activities for kids and adults.
Not all places, especially hotels, have good vegan options yet. Also the sea brings a lot of humidity so drying laundry can be challenging and some buildings have mold problems. I definitely do not recommend staying in a wooden building if you have any sensitivity to mold.
Pärnu beach is very long and shallow, making it safe for kids. The rest of the old town side is also otherwise safe, so I'd definitely recommend the destination to families or elderly people.

Pärnu is major Estonian resort city.
Pärnu is major Estonian resort city. If it is hot day the Pärnu Beach, it the place to go. Beach has big female nudist area. Beach has good quality sand and long shallow bathing area. City has lot of big resort hotels with numerous Spa, health healing facilities and water centres. These hotels are close to the beach area. Beach area itself is well developed and has lot of villas and parks nearby. City itself has small town atmosphere and the centre is lovely with lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can walk everywhere City is not overcrowded (except in hot summer days) and is good place to have a short 2–4-day holiday. City is popular among Finnish tourists.
Try cafe “Supelsaksad” nice food and cakes, hotel “Tervise Paradiis” for kids water center, hotel “Estonia” and “Tervis” for medical facilities, hotel “Villa Ammende”, “Hedon” or “Wasa” for upscale Spa holiday. Pärnu has popular theatre “Endla” (only Estonian) and philharmonic concert hall (concerts and festivals year round). There are numerous sport facilities, good tennis grounds, excellent golf course is 20m drive from city center.

Pärnu is a lovely town.
Pärnu is a lovely town. Easy to get around, and everything is accessible. Lots of interesting places to eat even in wintertime.
Obviously, the town will be much busier during summertime but we would visit Pärnu even in wintertime.
Lovely spa area with pool, hot tub, steam room, saunas and a terrace where you can soak up some sun. The treatment I booked was amazing! They had a 2 for 1 offer on massages for hotel guests, which is great. Generous breakfast buffet and dinner at the restaurant was also very good. Short walking distance both to the city center and the beach.
All in all a very relaxing stay. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again!
Well maintained hotel and clean rooms with balconies, loved the architecture. Swimming/sauna area was great, included in the price. Different kinds of pools and saunas. Hotel restaurant Kuu was a nice experience, excellent food and service! Breakfast was also good and 12 o'clock checkout was a nice treat. Free parking for hotel guests. Beach and the seaside is only a few minute walk away.
We had the best room called Koivisto, it has the entrance to the big balcony to the river view. My kid and dog were happy running on this balcony. The hotel provided an extra bed for a kid which was very convenient.
On the first floor where the breakfast was held there was a playcorner for kids so that we could enjoy the breakfast peacefully. Free parking. Good location.
Discounted price meant the hotel was good value for money.
We stayed at the apartment, so it was very spacious for a couple.
The kitchenette has cutlery and dishes, but no cooking stove, only a microwave.
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was soft, but comfortable. Blinds do a good job keeping out the light.
Overall, it was a good choice for a weekend stay.
OK, it is not a hostel as it is in western Europe, more it is a old house topical for this region that is use as hotel. Then ppl that want to have western standards, can have some problem with that. But for 1-3 days for this price in most attractive touristic city in Estonia in more then ok.
Tim was a very good Host to me. I want to stay at this hotel again when I go to Estonia. It's very nice and clean, close to the city and the sea, and the supermarket is very close. This is my first time writing a review like this, and I‘m leaving it because Tim gave me such good memories.
Clean, good breakfest offer, nice Welness&Spa zone, with different saunas, pools, friendly staff. I would suggest to Hotel ask higher price for Wellness & SPA zone, because it is in quite good level, so the same money would be earned, but less people and those who are there could enjoy.
I found the hotel's design and furnishing very charming in a way, giving it an imperial Russian and a medieval atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is less than a block from the central bus station, making the location ideal.
The location is super nice, few metres to the main street in Parnu. Receptionists are charming and lovely. She even explained me some main spots in the village. Buffet is large enough and has a bit of everything. Room has the perfect size and the hotel is very calm.
Great stay! The place is spacious. The house is Estonian old-stylish. There's a parking on site. Our 4-year-old kid loved the tree with lamps in the backyard. Wi-Fi is ok. There's a kitchen. Price was great! Now I'm thinking to return for a longer time there.
This is one of the nicest hotel in Pärnu and even in Estonia. Location is just awesome, couple of steps to the beach, volleyball courts and legendary Little Cuba right next to the hotel. Restaurant in offering good breakfast and dinner.
Just stopped for the night. it was Ealy May so the hotel was empty. I could tell that this was a seasonal hotel. and looked like to be an up class hotel. 10 second walk to the waters edge. Room was a good size and very clean.
Everything was good and met my expectations: quiet and tidy room, spa access and the hotel not far from the beach and the city center.
The spa is a nice size. Hamam and 80°C had felt right in terms of temperature.
The hotel has made great improvements in communications and the breakfast selection was excellent. Of course the spa staff has always been over the top with their services. One of the best in Estonia.
Charming small hotel in the Old Town of Pärnu. Peculiar and interesting room interior design. We were in a room with a steam cabin, it was great. We really enjoyed the "breakfast in bed".
It's a cozy hotel in the center of Pärnu, next to a very nice park. Everything to see and do in Pärnu is within 1km. Rooms are nice and clean, well equipped. Breakfast was decent.
Great location even for an off season. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was excellent. Beautiful view, clean and spacious. Will definitely recommend this hotel.
