Can't say enough good things about this boutique hotel. It is worth a night in your iceland itinerary.
Beautiful decor, clean as could be, and the staff are exceptional.
We were checked in by Christopher who quickly made us coffee and tea and engaged in lovely conversation. So personable and helpful!
Breakfast was a delicious spread, and by far the best of all the hotels we stayed at.

The place is decorated well to provide everyone with a cozy atmosphere. All facilities are in good and clean condition. The kitchen is well equipped and the place has lounge areas in mutiple levels. Toilets are in every level, three showers in both the women's and men's side + plenty of hot water!
Near the hostel is a delicious restaurant Skúrinn, where the staff was super helpful with food restrictions.
I would definitely stay again.

has a microwave and no stove but they have a refrigerator, has coffee pot, coffee and hot cocoa is there any time you want, plenty of washcloth in the bathroom. Very clean, right beside the guesthouse is Bonus Market. The guesthouse owner has one of the rooms there she just came out to say hi otherwise she won't bother you.

As we arrived we were greeted with a lovely scent in the house. The house was spacious, modern and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Only a couple of hours from Reykjavik but this place feels very much away from it all. The roads in and out aren't the easiest depending on the weather. We visited in early April and got stuck in snow (twice!) on the way in taking the northern road then feared getting stuck due to road closures and difficult driving conditions on the way out but we made it. Because of this we didn't get to see as much as we'd have liked. But we did have excellent takeaway fish and chips from the harbour front at HafnarvaginnScottUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

I loved the small-town vibe and charming Icelandic architecture located on an active harbour. Beautiful ocean views from the harbour-adjacent island walk! Enjoyed soaking at the local pool/hot pots, and happy to have a bakery, grocery store, and restaurants to choose from for meals. It is a nice little town by the sea. There is a small hill by the harbor you can climb that offers beautiful views. There are also a few restaurants, cafes, shops and museums but it is also nice to just walk around.InnaEstonia

Bathroom was really tiny but had everything you need … There was also a large lounge on the main floor and a smaller lounge on the 2nd floor where our rooms were. Tiny town so I doubt there can be an inconvenient location but the location was just minutes from the harbor and nearby restaurants.
