Omodos itself is quite small and you can see pretty much all of it in one day. But the surrounding area, the mountains, villages, viewpoints, waterfalls etc. You could spend a month here and still miss places!

It's a small rustic town, apparently the monastary is one of the oldest in Cyprus.
Small and narrow streets, uneven surfaces, not good anyone with mobility issues, prams and wheelchairs.
Small selection of tavernas and coffee shops, food as expected for the area, prices perhaps slightly high.
Nice views from that level, the village is will into the mountainous area and is smack in the middle of the wine region so lots to try and enjoy!

lovely historical town in the centre of Cyprus from wher most places of interest are within reach (1 to 1,5 hours by car). Unfortunately during the first week of April no restaurants were open in the evening during the week.

Beautiful village, many interesting sites to see, especially the Holy Cross Monastery in the village square. Lots of nice small bakeries (Fotini's bakery makes some amazing traditional pies), beautiful vineyards around, only 10min drive to Platres and waterfalls in the woods. On weekends the village square is extremely busy with lots of tourists but the village still remains charming and beauriful!

Gorgeous little village, very clean and well kept.
Gorgeous little village, very clean and well kept. Beautiful Monastry, restaurants, craft shops ... and the obligatory Cypriot cats. Wine offered in the Tavernas was a little questionable however the surrounding vineyards offering tastings had a very good choice.
One of the best agrotourism accommodations we have stayed in - everything was top quality, and beautifully finished. The house had a wonderful warm, traditional, village atmosphere, but was the quality of an excellent hotel. There was nothing they hadn't thought of, and Giannis the host was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Outstanding.
The restaurants and shops in the village were a 2 minute walk away, but we were on the edge of the village, so it was beautifully quiet.
Omodos is such a cozy village to stay in. Bakery nesr square offers beautifull fresh products as well as tasty wines. Streets are narrow and unique. You can get dinner in restauramts even after 6pm. Accomodation is fully equiped. Parking is ca 5mins by walk as you can not drive in the village. Every thursday there is live music in one tavern, where locals go to have nice wine, dinner and fun. Recommendee stay for at least 2 days.
This place saved us! We went to check in last minute at another place in Omodos, but it was double booked. We booked this place same day during their Easter celebration and they quickly cleaned the place for us! This place gives you an authentic feel.
This is a perfect location to experience an authentic town in the mountains. Its close to a lot of wineries as well.
I highly recommend staying in Omodos and this place.
Maria's Apartment hosts left us a nice bottle of chardonnay and plenty of water - it was expectedly appreciated in July! Our location was within an easy walking distance of the town square in Omodos. There was a nice privacy gate, and plenty of kitchen ware for potential cooking in the apartment. There was a nice shower and restroom filled with very good soaps, shampoos, and even child wipes - for us a major +!
A very interesting and authentic property with a long history in the lovely and historic Cypriot village of Omodos. Various hiking trails are within driving distance. There are many wineries in the surrounding area. We recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something special and authentic.
Travelling as a group of friends, this place offers comfortable rooms at a nice central location, just 2min walk from the main square. We parked at the village main parking and walked 4-5min to the hotel. Lovely staff and breakfast at the restaurant. We enjoyed our 1-night stay at Omodos village.
Lovely apartment. Location was perfect just on the edge of Omodos. Couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and centre of Omodos. Also lots of winerys near by. Parking just on the drive. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the wine and fruit which we enjoyed on the terrace.
Great stay at Fatma's place! Omodos in general was very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Fatma's place gave a nice vibe that matched the mountain setting. Very responsive and flexible, we would highly recommend her apartment. bonus is the beautiful rooftop terrace!
Wonderful authentic cottages in an absolutely peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Omodos is a beautiful village, it was a pleasure being there. The host is very friendly and helpful. The cottages were clean, we found everything for a comfortable stay. Thank you!
The fire place with the combination of the cold weather of the mountains was astonishing. As well as the bread of Omodos. The taste and the texture was something special and we enjoyed it so much. In general, our experience was okay.
The apartment and location was amazing! The apartment itself was very traditional, clean and comfortable. We stayed in lot a places during our trip to Cyprus and this was one of our favourites! Would highly recommend
Beautifully restored and decorated house, decent breakfast with friendly service, located in Omodos which is a very charming town, easy to explore the town on foot and walk back to the house.
