Paphos is a mix of culture, nature and history.
Paphos is a mix of culture, nature and history. It is filled with lots of museums and beautiful beaches in every corner. It is highly recommended for travellers who wish to have a relaxing beach-side vacation and also want to spend some days in the mountains. The city and the people are extremely child-friendly.

A great winter getaway.
A great winter getaway. The sun in February was warm enough to give us a tan and it felt much warmer than the official 17C. The coastal path goes on forever and is amazing. The buses are very frequent and can take you to different sections of the coastal path. Plan longer trips since a ride is 2 euros no matter what ;)

Walking along the shoreline is our favourite thing to do in Paphos it’s perfect for everyone even wheelchair users would find it good ,there is still some building work going on but when it is completed it will be fabulous. Supermarkets, pubs and nightclubs not forgetting the mall, there is definitely something to do for everyone. even a quiet corner to read a book and have a Cyprus coffee.

We were travelling from east of Cyprus to the west visiting all major cities on the coast and Paphos was the best area with archeological sites, shops and people and we have had the best feeling from this city. Almost everyone at Cyprus can speak English except people in the mountains, there it was more difficult however possible to communicate. Also at Paphos it was not so much mess at the streets and seems to be well maintained.

Paphos is a hilly city.
Paphos is a hilly city. The old town is lovely and has been renovated to a high standard.
Sadly other parts require much more tender loving care. With pavements cracked or even non existent. Graffiti is sprawled over abandoned buildings.
Paphos has many historic areas dating to 2000 AD.
The staff were brilliant; super helpful and cheerful. We had a delay on our flight and we didn’t arrive until the early hours of the morning. A member of staff had waited up for us to arrive to show us to our room. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast cooked to order and again the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an independently owned hotel with a lovely outside area including pool and bar. We only stayed one very short night (due to our delay) as we were travelling in Cyprus, but wish we could have stayed a little longer.
The staff and the breakfast are AMAZING! Every need we had was easily met and the breakfast is like a culinary celebration of local cuisine! I traveled with my elderly mother and the staff made everything so comfortable for us and, honestly, treated us like family. The owners of the hotel, are indeed a family. There is a history with this property and the family of owners are right to be proud of it! The location is perfect for the old town, harbor, and Paphos in general. The view is spectacular and did I mention the breakfast?
I like nothing it was very miserable , they don’t know anything about hygiene , they do not vacuum or wip the floor .
About the stuff, they were very rude with exceptions . The location was fair.
Nevertheless,, I feel that booking.com has disguised us It has been a mission on Booking.com that it is a four star hotel but Google mentioned that it is a three star hotel, and I think any three star hotel should be better than this junk.
In general it does not worth what I have paid for. nevertheless,
Very nice, clean and spacious pool area, especially the kids area. Nancy the pool guard was amazing, very engaging with kids and very attentive. Always with a smile on her face. The kids play area next to the pool was excellent.
Location was good, 30 min walk to the old town, 5 min walk to the marina.
Food & Beverage Staff and Nancy (the pool guard) were very nice and very helpful, especially the lady I think called Alyna at the pool bar who was very attentive and made the best cocktails.
Everything: hospitality, the place, swimming pool, fantastic sunset view, very comfortable villa itself, you can find everything you need. The fridge was fulfilled by our arrival. Every 2-3 days the owners presented us traditional pies and deserts. It is only 5 min on feet down the road and you will get to small beach. And when you ride the car you can reach Coral bay beach - the best in the area, in 5-7 min. Supermarket Lidl is same 5-7 min by car.
The proximity of the beach and the fact that the area has some nice bars and restaurants were both plus features. In addition, the hotel may be a bit far from the center and the old castle and ancient sights, but it is pretty well connected to these as well as the highway system, providing access to multiple locations (provided you have a car). Finally, the staff seemed pretty friendly, especially the staff at the pool bar.
Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Huge choice of food for buffet style breakfast. Food generally excellent with large choice. Beautifully laid out swimming pools and grounds. Hotel and ground design very attractive and well thought-out. Beach very small with 'grey sand', but safe sea swimming in enclosed area. Apparently no beaches in Cyprus are 'private' but this beach was largely for hotel guests only.
the hotel is located in a prime location.
right on the boardwalk
easy access to bus, 10 minutes walk , and get a ride of another 10 minutes to the old town.
lots of places to eat or just grab a bite walking distance.
the hotel has. great indoor spa with a pool and sauna.
the breakfast was good .
the room was clean and all the facilities look maintained.
Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, great food very well organized. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Check in and checkout were fast. The breakfast was amazing with something for everyone. The pools were wonderful as was the pool bar and restaurant. Located perfectly with easy access to the beach and the promenade. Just perfect.
I recommend this hotel. Our room was upgraded to better room for free, also we got cyprus wine for free. The best impresion left us Savas from reception. We got best advices from his where to visit and what to try what made our journey very interesting and fun. Savas greetings from Lithuania ! :)
The personell was super understanding and explained everything, gave us a map, answered all our questions. The location was perfect as it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Town and a 10-20 minute walk to the tourist area, also the harbour and bus station.
Probably the best hotel to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries in Cyprus. Good Spa facilities with amazing views and attentive service; peaceful environment, beautiful nature, nice interiors.
One of the best customer-experience we had at a hotel in Cyprus. Special mentions go to Fotoula, Chryso and Aphroditi who went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed!
Modesto welcomed us on our arrival. Area to hangout at the back. Safe, good value for your money. Excellent location. The entrance is next to a hotel for reference.
Location, location, location, old town is nice area to stay, close by bus station to get anywhere. Nice breakfast, lovely old hotel. Room was cleaned daily.
