ARCOS is a great village to explore.
ARCOS is a great village to explore. Is one of the best white villages we visited. The people there are happy to see you. You can talk to everyone, young, old, including the police and they laugh at your jokes (mine). Food is awsome.

The Hotel was easy to locate, the private underground parking was good, the Staff were great, and the place itself had a lot of things to see and do, the surrounding Countryside is definitely worth driving through, and the food in the cafe/ bar/ restaurants, was very good as of course was the drink. Arcos de la Frontera is a beautiful town. Perhaps the prettiest of Los Pueblos Blancos, The old town is steeped in history from the Roman period onward. The expansive views from the hilltop are wonderful, and the peek-a-boo views down narrow streets between whitewashed walls are both pretty and intriguing. Good restaurants (try Restaurante Aljibe for Morrocan, or Los Juventes Flamencos for Andalusian) are steps away from good accommodation. If I ever have the privilege of returning to Andalusia, Arcos will definitely be on the itinerary.DavidCanada - 8.0Scored 8.0

I've been to another Pueblos Blancos town that I liked much more (Frigliana). This town if much larger, but I was disappointed that there weren't more squares with cafes around them. The main square in the old town is a parking lot! It's a nice enough town, but one or two days there is plenty.

An absolutely magical, beautiful and welcoming town. Amazing architecture, great variety of good value restaurants and the locals were so amazingly friendly. The food was exceptional and the Iberico ham the best I'd ever had. Short car ride from Jerez airport (30 mins) and around 1 hour 30 mins from the stunning beaches of El Palmar/Conil

The appointment of the apartment was superb. Many books about the history of the area and personal touches made the apartment more like a home than a hotel room. The property is plumb center in the historic Old Quarter of Arcos and a chock full of history, complete with remaining artefacts dating back more than a thousand years. Clean, comfortable and highly recommended.
