Quite seaside town. That has many restaurants and cafes.
Quite seaside town. That has many restaurants and cafes. Also plenty of options for accommodation. Plenty of things to do like swimming, kite surfing and sailboarding. And the white sand dunes are worth visiting for the early morning sunrise, plus a ride on quad bike.

Mui Ne is a quiet place, perfect for the one looking for nature and sea in their original state. Phan Tiet is the kingdom of dragon fruits, there are now many new kinds, yellow, red pulp inside - GMos? There are many new resorts coming up, in Phan Tiet and near by Mui Ne, but there are many things to do to rise the level of the place.

We were close to the very popular foodcourt.
We were close to the very popular foodcourt. The local catholic church could get very busy at times. Local food options were good too. Sunset seafront bars were good but the beach wasn't great here. Nearest ATM was a good 1 km away. Local buses back into Phan Thiet took at least half an hour. You wiil need to take a taxinor Grab from Binh Thuan to connect to the North South railway.

It was a great place when the beaches were still usable.
It was a great place when the beaches were still usable. Now most of the coastline is gone, as are the resorts that still have beach charges or don't allow non-guests to access them. It never really recovered post-covid, which is sad because it has always been a great place to travel, not too far from HCMC.

Great little stop if you are looking to relax from the hustle and bustle of a big trip through Vietnam.
We actually had most of our meals at the Resort restaurant as it was on the beach and the lights and the beach setting at night was amazing.
Food was good, nice mix of Vietnamese and Western.

Knowing it since it was just a fisher village, Mui Ne has developed over the past two decades. Nevertheless you can see the pain Covid has endured on this place, with many restaurants and bars that closed down, empty shops and dirty areas on the streets.
It is definitely a nice weekend getaway out of HCMC, however I am not sure whether it is worth it to stay there for a very long time, as currently the choices are relatively limited. Joes Cafe, Nirvana and Dragon Beach are still operating, but are just ghosts of their former glory. From all the bars available, Joes Cafe is till date one that is nice to visit, with good shisha, reasonable prices for drinks and food. Nevertheless, the live bands are also not what they used to be, but better than nothing.
What is great to know is that the new highway reduce your traveling time to Mui Ne, however i not recommend to drive back on Sundays, as the traffic jams are horrible and your traveling time goes up to 4 hrs + if you are extremely unlucky.
Kitesurfing paradise has it has been claimed by many, i cannot agree with it, as it is good for advanced riders, beginners in my point of view will have an issue due to the strong current.
Nevertheless, its a better option than Ho Tram and also the cheaper option.
The pool was great my kids didn't want to leave. The food was good enough and pretty cheap, some dishes were exceeded our expectations. The garden is very beautiful with many trees and flowers. The private beach was okay. There was garbage here and there on the beach but it was okay, there was a staff going out to pick up the garbage every few days. All the staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked. I think they had been trying to survive after the pandemic and I appreciated their efforts.
Where to start, it was amazing!! The whole hotel looks beautiful, it’s a really peaceful and cozy place to stay. The room is very big and the beds were the best we’ve had in months. The shower is also really great and everything was clean. They even had a diffuser in the room with a nice lemongrass smell. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The location is also good, really close to the beach, supermarket, market, restaurants, food court etc. Would really recommend this lovely hotel :)
A very pleasant place. Simple but spacious and clean rooms. Responsive hosts. I had a problem with my laptop charger, it didn't fit Vietnamese standards. The owners did everything to find the adapter late in the evening, and the next day they went and bought an adapter for me so that I would not have such problems again. The location is not in the busiest area, but I liked it. Cafes, shops were within walking distance, and at the same time it was quiet. For the price, this is a great option.
Staff were excellent and went above and beyond to help me. Spoke very good English. They helped me rent a scooter which you will need as grab bikes aren’t always available.
They also rang my tour company for me to make sure they picked me up from hotel to take me back to HCM.
Good value, nice big room, good shower, good WiFi and AC.
Was a good hotel for 2 night stay.
Generally quiet as well as set back from the road, some noise from nearby bar first night, but it stopped after few hours.
Definitely one of the nicest hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms are decorated nicely which makes them seem bright and welcoming
The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom had a big proper cubicle. The pool is super relaxing and the staff are friendly and helpful - they helped us book a last minute sand dunes sunrise tour, as well as sorting our train ticket to Saigon. There is a food market next door with loads of different vendors offering different cuisines.
we booked one night but it was the most relaxing from our trip to Vietnam. The couple who is welcoming you are very nice and kind, makes you feel like being home. The room huge, spacious, clean, with an elegant matrimonial bed. Breakfast by the sea was delicious too. Location perfect! Right next to the hotel there’s a gorgeous cozy cafe during the day and a bar with live music. Next time when we’ll visit Mui ne will definitely book all trip to Serenity by the sea ☺️👍
The staff were very kind and helpful and indulged us practising our rudimentary Vietnamese on them. Breakfast was everything we could have wanted. The location was back from the beach but still very close. It’s beautiful garden caught all the offshore breezes and the wonderful pool was perfect for cooling off in. I recommend room p15 on the first floor. It has a private terrace and amazing bathroom with its own door back into the bathroom.
I have been vacationing at the Ocean Vista Hotel for over 10 years. This hotel has its own beautiful beach, delicious breakfasts, large apartments, its own swimming pools, SPA, gym, many beautiful flowers and plants on the territory, 21 golf courses, a large area, electric machines at your service, a wine castle. Great service and staff. Ideal for families and couples. Fabulous place. One of the best apartments in Vietnam.
Location could not be better! The property backs onto a lively foodcourt serving any cuisine you could ask for (vietnamese, indian, chinese, mexican, italian etc.) and pineapple beach club is a 5 minute walk along the beach. The people working here are friendly and helped us with everything we needed, including cheap (cheaper than 12Go) bus tickets to Saigon. Also try their smoothie bowls 🫶🏻
The location is absolutely great! Book a room with seaview and it is definetly worthy of money. The pool is also great. The beach can be visited when the tide ebb and the sand there is very soft. The faciliities around the hotel is great. You can find great seafood restaurants, spa and hawkers around easily. And it is also convenient to reach the Mui Ne town or Phan Thiet city by taxi.
The staff was amazing! The main woman and man i spoke with are siblings from what I understood and they went out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful stay in Vietnam. I bought a bus ticket through 12goasia and asked me to check it to make sure everything was okay. They called the company for me and had the bus pick me up right in front of the hotel which was so so so appreciated!
The resort has its own private beach front, with hammocks and chairs to relax on. There is also a beach-side bar and pool. Overall there are lots of places to relax at, and it is very picturesque.
It is also centrally situated on the Mui Ne strip, and there is helpfully a little convenience store across the road, and an ATM just outside.
Probably one of the best resorts I/we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect and the athmosphere was just next level cozy. The staff was amazing and beyond helpful! Especially the receptionist Phan were one of the most service-minded, friendly and accommodating woman!!! much credit to her and the entire place in general 🙏🏼
Hotel is all round lovely and very comfortable. Very modern and clean throughout.
Amazing location right opposite the street food courtyard, and a short walk to get through to the beach walk.
Booked a sand dune tour through them which was amazing! Highly recommend!
Beautiful great Indochina design resort that brings you very good vibes and cozy atmosfere. Staff are amazing and helpful. Lovely pools and beach zone with shadow from coconut trees.
Excellent hotel for beach and/or pet lovers. The location is by far the best in Mui Ne and so is the pool. Service is good, in particular the new manager is very friendly and helpful
Staff were helpful, polite and accessible.
Good spread of breakfast, yummy drinks from bar.
The pool and beach in the resort were clean, we are really happy with the facilities
Nice decoration and spacious room with friendly staffs. From the resort, we could walk a short distance and swimming. The location of bar is very nice, front of beach
Quiet and relaxed place just off the main road between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne near the top of the hill. Clean room with nice balcony. Would stay here again.
