We love el campello ,especially as our family son daughter-in-law and grandson live there ,it’s a lovely holiday resort,so easy to use the tram to visit Alicante old town .the apartment was perfect for us ,on the sea front and close to our family’s apartment.lots of lovely bars and restaurants definitely recommend it especially for familiesLorraine - 8.0Scored 8.0
The Tram system is excellent.
The Tram system is excellent. Buy a multi trip card at the Tram Station. Get a timetable..Trams can be every 30mins. There are fast Trams to Alicante with limited stops. Change at Benidorm for the diesel Railcar to Denia. Beach and Restaurants are very good..Local shops excellent I would recommend visit to the Tourist Office very friendly.lee - 10Scored 10

El Campello is a lovely suburb 25 mins on tram from Alicante. Gorgeous beach and esplanade to walk along with cafes, restaurants and bars. Beautiful sea views. Selection of supermarkets, banks, chemists, hairdressers etc. Great place for relaxation, sun, views and easy access to Alicante and airport.

The town has absolutely no character whatsoever. One drab dismal mainstreet. There are very good Indian restaurants and a fantastic Spanish restaurant (Merfin restaurant). The beach is beautiful and well kept. Tramline from Alicante to Denia passing through it or no more than a 15 minute walk. As a town to visit I would never recommend El Campello. The host of the apartment was great and can not be held responsible for the drab town. He was very helpful and only a phonecall away if needed.AAnonymous

Pastries,bread, rolls, meats, cheeses, cereals etc The pool and surroundings were fab. The interiors were clean and very smart. Great Cafetería and poolside bar. Very quiet setting which suited us. However, you need a car to go anywhere. But we hire a car wherever we go so not a problem for us. 10 mins from nearest beach town. Alicante 20 mins away. All easy to get to. Staff helpful and friendly.

Our unit was on the 7th floor and had a great view of the ocean and mountains and overlooked a nice park. It was very spacious and clean. Bed was large and comfortable. Tram was 2 blocks away and was perfect for getting into Alicante or up the coast to Benidorm. Grocery stores within walking distance and beachfront with lots of restaurants close by. Having a free washer and dryer onsite was another bonus.JanetCanada

The most fascinating is the organisation of the property: everything you need to relax, to cook or to work. Secure underground parking suitable for big SUV. Gorgeous kitchen with equipment and utensils to bake and roast. Sparkling bathrooms with big showers. Comfortable and big beds. And excellent air conditioning and ventilation, which is very important in Spain.

The location is very close to downtown El Campello and we had easy access to the Salesians tram stop. The beach is about a 5-minute walk down a nice promenade that the apartment is located directly on. The host was great and super responsive to our needs. We had no issues with his instructions to get into the apartment or closing up.
