This was a great clean hotel, with a really comfortable and spacious room. The minibar was a nice addition, and not excessively priced, though admittedly very limited options. Although the room had great soundproofing from the street, there was quite a lot of noise coming from nearby rooms and downstairs in the reception.

We came to the town from Cadiz. There is no comparison.
We came to the town from Cadiz. There is no comparison. The town is busy but not trendy as claimed in all the media. You can find a good restaurant or two if you do the legwork.
The harbour is not on the sea but on the river. We didn't think it worthwhile to try the beach.
We will can't see what all the fuss is about and will stick to Cadiz in future

Lovely town with some great beaches.
Lovely town with some great beaches. Easy access to Cadiz via catamaran and Jerez by train although schedules aren´t as frequent as in some other parts of the Spanish costas. Some really good restaurants and great value. Will definitely go back again.

One of the nicest towns on the Costa de la Luz, with several beaches and plenty of things to see and do. It is famous for its seafood restaurants. A short ferry ride across the bay takes you to the wonderful city of Cadiz.

Nice location on the sea front. Great to have a fridge in the room. Breakfast was good except for the awful fruit juice. We had dinner at the hotel for the 3 nights and thought it was great value for money as the buffet was excellent. There is entertainment outside on the lawn in high season three nights a week. It is very late starting (10.30) and ends at midnight so it can be annoying if you want an early night!
Quirky hotel formerly a bodega and handy for town and railway station. Very handsome public areas and pleasant dining room and café. Prices for food and drink were incredibly reasonable.. The staff without exception were welcoming and friendly, Alfredo in particular. Our room was quiet overlooking the outside patio area. Will stay here on our next visit.
Very nice, clean and fresh room with a newly renovated bathroom. Very good beds. Nice and friendly staff. Nice area, close to several beaches, Cádiz and other interesting tourist sites. The hotel offers really good value for the price. Very tasty and quite large breakfast for an additional 10 €/person. Very good coffee included!
Great hotel in Andalusian style, friendly staff, big room, breakfast ok and exceptional: welcome drink and 1 bottle of Cava offered with a beautifully arranged plate of strawberries. Since its location is not right in center, it’s nicely quiet.
Location is very good - walking distance to the beach as well as center / harbor (the town is very small), free parking at the street, friendly staff and superb breakfast (way better than common *** hotel). The value for money is really great.
This is a family run hotel where everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We liked the room as the beds were super comfortable and the bathroom/shower great. Location within easy walking distace of bars and restaurants.
Location is in good place of el Puerto de Santa Maria, near (in few minutes) free car parking. Clean flat. Very good value of money. Very safe door lock and very clean corridor. Outside is couple bars and fine walking river canal promenade.
Lovely stay at Soho boutique. Gorgeous place. Was there for a wedding and thankfully the hotel kept the pool areas open beyond season as it was still hot enough to relax by the pool. Great room sizes and amenities.
Our third stay at Puerto Sherry although this visit was at a different time of the year. We were not disappointed and as the weather was extremely good, the use of the hotel pool was an added bonus.
The Staff were brilliant, particularly Juan and Hugo at the front desk and Moses in the lounge. The main rooms and corridors wer atmospheric and showed of the wonderful building that the Hotel is in.
I loved the location (in front of the beach); big swimming pool; the room is good (all of them with balcony/ good view); the breakfast is varied; parking lot at the hotel.
