I highly recommend Mas Sola Hotel, just outside the city.
I highly recommend Mas Sola Hotel, just outside the city. It's a modern, well maintained hotel, free parking, clean and comfortable rooms, nice view from the balcony, nice Spa Center ( not big but very enjoyable if it's not crowded), outdoor pool and many other sports to play. The Restaurant has a great chef, we enjoyed our dinner. The hotel is closed to Magma Spa - a surprising and beautiful spa retreat . The Staff is nice and helpful .

We were only there for an evening, but by the looks of things there are a few reasonably priced options for eating. It didn't strike me as a town for tourists, though the surrounding countryside is pleasant. The one way system is a bit of a maze.MichaelIreland - 10Scored 10
Beautiful hotel, quiet, peaceful location.
Beautiful hotel, quiet, peaceful location. Great spot for doing day trips, Barcelona was about 1 1/2 hrs, Figueres which has the Salvador Dali museum is an hour away. The coast is a half hour away. Or you could just hang out at the hotels Spa and pool. There are also bike and hiking trails. Something for everyone!

We particularly enjoyed the restaurant which has been now operating for 100 years serving traditional Catalan food. Great selection on the menus at a very reasonable cost. The hotel is well situated in the town. We really enjoyed our stay and it is a good base for the many walks and places nearby to explore.
