No breakfast but had coffee with Coffee-mate, and tea. Large fridge for our supplies & toaster. Candies / mini-granola bites in a basket on the TV. Better choice for a family with teenagers who like playing foosball & pool in the shared games room that was in the suite with our room (Mountain View). There was a second room (Paddock View) that was not occupied but you could get that for the kids or use the cot in the hallway. Could book a trail ride. Clean room. Nice mountain view as well as the view of RV parking (see photos). Nice fir floor. Would be good place to cook and eat at the large BBQ area if you had friends staying in the RV park or camping on the property.
Offering a swimming pool and free WiFi, Pacific Shores Resort & Spa is set in Nanoose Bay. Nanaimo is 17 mi away. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a flat-screen TV.

Great location right on the beach in downtown Parksville

Stayed here coming back from Tofino to catch the Nanaimo ferry the next day. Fabulous hosts, great views over the Bay from the hillside, easy access, spacious property, immaculately clean, peace and quiet, yet close to town. Certainly a place I will will come back to soon. I rate it five stars.
At the Provincial Park in nearby Parkville, I saw 12 orcas right off the beach.

If you didn’t know any better you’d probably drive right...
If you didn’t know any better you’d probably drive right past it on your way to or from Parksville-Qualicum...you’ll be glad you took the turnoff at the Petro Canada Service station....if nothing else, treat yourself to breakfast or lunch at the Rusted Rake Eatery just a bit up the road...a one way ticket to Yumsville!!😊
Very secluded, tranquil setting on a wetlands bird estuary, with views of Nanoose Bay. Ultra modern, fresh, large room with very comfortable beds. Outdoor patio complete with an outdoor jaccuzzi tub! Also, a very large low patio deck with Adirondack chairs, a pond with fountain and outdoor BBQ. Bonus: outdoor covered washer/dryer.
Very very private.
There are kayaks (and canoes) onsite that you can borrow during high tide to see the Estuary!!
This is a stunning and attentively designed property with serene views. Harold is a great host who makes every effort to please shares ideas regarding what to do in the area. The property is run in the style of a high end B&B. We couldn’t be happier that we chose this property as our home base for Parksville instead of staying at one of the beachside hotels. We will be recommending Inn the Estuary to all our friends!
If you love nature then this is the place for you. Harold has done an amazing job in making the property fit right into the surrounding landscape and the wildlife that lives in it. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. there was not one thing that could have been better, thank you Harold and the Inn the Estuary for making my visit to Nanoose Bay even more memorable.
