Kuwait is a lovely country to visit. It is easy and cheap to get around in taxis and people are generally helpful and friendly.
I loved their malls, especially The Avenue. I also enjoyed going to the Friday market as they had a huge range of things to purchase. I particularly liked the traditional pieces. There are lots of fancy restaurants to choose from too with great choices.
Kuwait has beautiful beaches and that was surprising at first.

People are extremely friendly and helpful, both local people and the people from foreign countries. The country is beyond my imagination, as there are quite a number of things to see and not very touristy.
Please be prepared for a slightly longer time for everything in Kuwait, as things do not work as you are used to in other countries. Examples would be like, luggage claim might take longer time than usual; When you find the post office on google map, the post office might already be closed down permanently; You get a bus ticket on the City Bus app but just to find their system is down when you get on the bus and the driver denies your in-app ticket purchase; Traffic is a bit slow in the city center; The public bus changes way but google map still follows the old way etc etc. To sum it up, it is still in the stage of preparing itself for the tourists, and probably that's why it's less touristy and people are friendlier.

I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait.
I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait. The weather was great (35C) and it was really nice to go to the beaches. Abundant of restaurants and malls. We walked quite alot around the center and explored for example the Kuwait towers, the grand Mosque and the Mubarakia old market. Since most people travel by car its not the easiest place to walk around, but it wasn't a problem. We felt very safe the whole time everywhere we went, everybody was willing to help and nobody is there to scam you.

We loved Kuwait.
We loved Kuwait. The souk was wonderful, the restaurants were great. I'd suggest visiting as many of the highlights as possible. Focus on restaurants that locals frequent versus "cultural" restaurants that are more for tourists. I wish we had a few more days in Kuwait.
Avenues Mall, Fourth Section (the newest section) is a must visit, even for the mall loather. What a mall!

The weather at this time was excellent.
The weather at this time was excellent. The people are very lovely and friendly. Transportation depends on taxis, which are very cheap - no public tram/metro. Mubarakiah Souk, and Alasemh shopping mall are one of the most places you should visit it.
The hotel management asked me to pay the full value of the reservation and also forced me to pay a price to a photographer to take personal pictures, noting that the photographer is not affiliated with the hotel knowing that I booked the photographer at my expense. The behavior of the hotel management is negative, and its police treatment is not appropriate to the level of Kuwait hotels. Unfortunately, I left the hotel and I was charged for this inhumane behavior 221 KD for 6 hours
This is our 6th visit to Kuwait in 2023. And this is our second time to stay in Swiss-Belinn Sharq Hotel. With no exaggeration, the hotel offers what a traveler is looking for. Clean, quiet and comfortable stay. Staff are super helpful and friendly, they helped us a lot. A bid shoutout to Ala’a, Ridha’a and AbduAlrahman. Thank you for making our stay as comfy and welcoming. We are looking forward to see you again next time we visit Kuwait. Thank you for everything.
Swiss-Belboutique Bneid Al Gar Kuwait with Starbucks at the ground.
Great location, friendly staff and they were very welcoming and accommodating. The housekeeping staff was efficient and attentive. Lovely well maintained facilities and the room was big, clean and tidy with good value for money considering the central location and plenty to do around the place. They have their own Starbucks coffee shop at the ground floor inside the hotel.
The hotel is one of the best hotels in Kuwait with prime location and connected to the biggest mall in Kuwait which called (The Avenues). The hotel is new and clean. The staff was so friendly and it's a comfortable place to spend a vacation. Also this area it could be considered as a center of Kuwait and could reach any area within good time. The overall experience was really good.
The room was very good, had a sea view, an evening fountain light show. The kettle and water bottle is very good. I walked from the bus station for 15 min until I saw the sign of the hotel. The express bus does not go anymore in Kuwait city. But a local bus (a ticket is 300, in the evening the price is double) goes from the airport until 9 pm only.
Great pools open until 11pm, one of them was heated. Great location in between Kuwait City and Al Khout. Salmiya is also easily accessible. Bus 999 stops in front of the hotel ang goes both ways north and south. Wednesday night barbeque buffet was awesome and you get a discounted price for being a hotel guest. Gym is extremely well equipped.
Fabulous staff who were very helpful, all of the time. Sunil needs a special shout out. He just seemed to make everything perfect! Also, the hotel itself was comfortable and close enough to everything. While Kuwait City isn't a walking city, we made it work and this hotel isn't far from the main sights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
It was the best stay ever. I booked on my husband's birthday. They decorated the room for me free of charge and offered us the hospitality of fruits, nuts and birthday cake. The cleanliness is special and they care about the smallest details.. the best hotel in Kuwait without a doubt.
Very large rooms. Location is ok and close to a few museums but not close to main Kuwait towers or shops. Taxis are easy to get. Mcdonalds nearby and also several shops. Area seems safe to walk at night. All hotel staff are very pleasant and polite.
The hotel lobby was really nice, and the room was big. Breakfast is good with many things to choose from. The breakfast restaurant is on the 22nd floor and you have a very nice view to the Kuwait towers. The hotel is also very near the towers.
Favorite hotel in Kuwait! Great ambience and excellent customer service. Thanks to Jovelyn, Jessie and Mahendra for warm welcome and smooth checkin process. Always ready to go extra mile for their guests!
Warm hospitality and reception , Mr.Ahmed was a professional class receptionist, his smile and his kindness to the guests encourage you to book this hotel on every visit to Kuwait
This hotel is my go-to hotel when it comes to Kuwait, I've recommended it to all my friends and family, the rooms are clean and spacious also the staff are very nice and helping.
Amazing and welcoming staff with fantastic service. I stayed there for couple of weeks and I would love to stay more. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuwait.
