The hotel is in the upper part of the village. quiet plce .Close to Enipeas Gorge ( you can make a nice walk easily) . We got a room with a covered balcony and a view of the sea and the village. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The service is excellent. Explanations are provided on routes on the mountain. A very good buffet-style breakfast. Walking distance to the main square of the village (downhill) about 10 minutes. Returning is a little bit strenuous walk. The village is nice in the center with restaurants along the main street.

One of my favorite spots in Greece. A beatiful little mountain town at the slopes of the Olympus mountain. Great small hotels and restaurants and endless trails to walk in the Olympus Mountain within a walking distanace.

if you plan to follow E4 in one day, better to take taxi to...
if you plan to follow E4 in one day, better to take taxi to Prionia and hike from there. If you climb from the beginning , there is not much to see. on the way and you will get exhausted after 4 km since the trails are quite stepp with sharp rock.

Great access to Mt. Olympus and a number of day hikes. Easy access to the beaches as well, although we came in early April so did not visit them as extensively as we might have in the summer months. The ambiance of the village is amazing, the views of ocean and mountains alike are unmatched. We probably would have stayed one more night as we didn't even get to the beaches but just had time to hike Mt. Olympus. STAYED IN 1 ROOM FOR THREE OCCUPANTS FOR ONE NIGHT. IT WAS TOO TIGHTLY FITTED WITH FURNITURE, NOT MUCH ROOM TO MOVE THEREAFTER. OTHERWISE CLEAN, HOT WATER AVAILABLE, KETTLE AND EXTRA BLANKETS PROVIDED PROMPTLY ON REQUEST. BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS AND FRESH AT $7 PP. VEIWS: EXCELLENT VEHICLE ACCESS; IN FRONT OF THE ROOMS RECEPTION; ATTENDED SMILING AND HELPFUL OVERALL A PLEASANT STAY. CLOSE TO ROYAL NECROPOLIS: WORTH A VISIT DION ACHEOLOGICAL SITE: NOT MUCH DIFFERENT TO OTHER SITES.

They helped us with our hike on the Mount Olympus providing us breakfast to bring on the way, even tough we left the Guesthouse at 6am. Our plans changed and we have decided to stay there one more night, unfortunately the entire Guesthouse was already booked. The host helped us calling a friend and driving us there to his hotel, what a lovely person. Looking forward to stay there again next time I visit Litochoro.DericSerbia
